I can pop in with the occasional witticism, but I have work to do today. Sorry,

Jesus (hay-zeus) the Jamster (hamster). I like it...

Why do 2 year olds not eat food off the high chair tray but if they find the same food on the floor they gobble it right up?
Because the floor is "seasoned" with eau de' feet - a delightful flavor favored by small children and dogs the world round. Upon contact with the floor, the eau de' feet gives the food the extra little something that discriminating pallets desire.

This is also why small children will often throw food. They desire that the food hit the linoleum and be properly seasoned. Many times these efforts are thwarted by clueless adults who will throw away the now delicious food and attempt to feed the child more tasteless gunk. This is one reason small children cry so much - frustration.

Jesus and Tiny Tim. I like 'em both, although not sure if an 8 year old would appreciate either. lol

There are going to be two hamsters -- presumably a boy and a girl.
I suggested Noel for the girl.

How about Nickolas? (however you spell it) Rudolph is Christmas-y too, I guess. Jingle. Things found in nature that could be cute hampster names: Cranberry, Pinecone, Snowflake, Peppermint - wait, that's not in nature... ah well, you get the point
