I just remembered another one. Slumdog Millionaire for the part when they burn the boy's eyes. I will never watch that movie again, that scene made me sick.0

A movie called "feed" it was about a guy who had big girl fetishes and he used to feed them til they died... and people use to watch online.. I believe these things always derive from some sort of truth.. Totally sick!!
I've been meaning to watch that movie..
It was nicely done. Check out "The Woman" also, -it think thats the name, it's onNetflix
I've seen it.. i actually felt angry about that one.. i'm not really a feminist but i felt like it was a very demeaning movie for women..0 -
Gremlins.
I was like 5 or something when I saw it and it gave me a nightmare the night I saw it.
I haven't been scared by a movie since....sadly. I like horror movies...I'd like to find one that is scary!0 -
The original Last House on the Left. AWFUL!!!
yeah they got pretty graphic didn't they?
This, and the remake both shocked me i really was dying to help the girls. It was really shocking.
Not sure how many of you have seen August Underground - that's out there
And i agree with whoever said Event Horizon 'Where we're going you won't need eyes to see!'0 -
The Descent or Wrong Turn 4. Those were some f*cked up movies.0
-
Exorsist, and anything by Stephen King blah.......0
-
"What Lies Beneath" actually had me on the edge of my seat and so tense, that the contractions it forced me to have had me go into labor 7 weeks early with my daughter. That was all she needed. Had to be on bedrest for two weeks before she decided enough was enough. Never watched a scary movie again.0

A serbian movie and the first few minutes of cube(zero)
aaah yu said the name of the forbidden film that which is not to be said!!!!! a serbian film is the one i've been warned by at least 30 horror fanatics to avoid!
You'd be wise to avoid...it's burned into my brain forever0 -
Also Girl Next Door and Irreversible0
-
"The Exorcist"...I was 15 at the time and couldn't go to the bathroom at night without all the lights on for YEARS afterwards.
also "The Blair Witch Project"..when i lived in Md, the house where it was filmed and the woods were 5 minutes away.
I HATE scarey movies.0 -
For me it was The Grudge. It was the first really scary movie that I had ever watched. I was nine years old and my cousins promised that they would tell me to close my eyes when the scary parts came on. Needless to say, that held my eyelids open instead. I wouldn't shower for a week after that unless someone sat in the bathroom with me and I was petrified of dark corners. I haven't seen it since and I refuse to watch it.0

"It" - pretty bad but I still can't watch "Children of the Corn", even said no to buying a lot because it was next to a corn field - cannot watch that one0

Yea, I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Was it feminist? Was it just thinly velied tourture porn? Idk, but I like that it made me have a response. So much horror I watch and I'm just like "meh"0 -
for me, it was The Entity... the woman was being raped by some entity, and it was supposedly based on a true story... gives me the heebie jeebies:(0
-
Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I'm truly scarred from this movie.
I avoid carnivals and fairs at all costs because of this movie :frown:0 -
Salo, Serbian Film, Cannibal Halocaust
Oh! From the reactions on this thread I am now adding these to my que!0 -
Also Girl Next Door and Irreversible
yes and yes yes!!
Jack Katchem's the girl next door was based on the true story about Sylvia Lycans and Gertrude Benichefski.. A more realistic movie based on this story is "an american crime".. also can be seen in investigation discovery's "deadly 'women" on netflix.0 -
I remembered another one. "Don't Look Now" with Donald Sutherland. When he catches up with the red raincoat ... lets just say that still frightens me.0
-
Prince of Darkness
Friday the 13th part 2 (because for weeks after the movie my brother would play kill kill kill ha ha ha sounds or jump out and scare me)
IT - never trust the clown!!!!0 -
Salo, Serbian Film, Cannibal Halocaust

careful.. if i were you, i'd check out the reviews on imdb.. just in case.. a serbin film isn't just a horror movie.. it haunts people.. it's a pretty horrifying thing to put yourself through.. it's what i did.. and i'm glad i did..0 -
The Exorcism of Emily Rose. I still wake up at 3am. Look at the clock and say "fu-k........."
Hahaha I do the same thing!0 -
Love horror! I don't really get scared (or scarred) anymore, but I was ...disturbed by this list:
The Girl Next Door
Last Houst on the Left (origional)
Clockwork Orange
Emily Rose is the last movie to scare the *kitten* out of me.
Human Centipide 2 was disgusting, and because of that AWESOME! What a great bad guy! The first one was boring.
The Audition was cool if you're a fan of Japanese horror.
For some reason I saw the part of Watership Down where Bigwig is caught in a wire when I was five and that messed me up for a while.
I will be Netflixing some of these I haven't seen.
Great list and topic!
I remember the Girl Next Door - that movie is based (loosely) on an actual case (Sylvia Likens).0 -
for me, it was The Entity... the woman was being raped by some entity, and it was supposedly based on a true story... gives me the heebie jeebies:(
