I just remembered another one. Slumdog Millionaire for the part when they burn the boy's eyes. I will never watch that movie again, that scene made me sick.

A movie called "feed" it was about a guy who had big girl fetishes and he used to feed them til they died... and people use to watch online.. I believe these things always derive from some sort of truth.. Totally sick!!

I've been meaning to watch that movie..

It was nicely done. Check out "The Woman" also, -it think thats the name, it's onNetflix

I've seen it.. i actually felt angry about that one.. i'm not really a feminist but i felt like it was a very demeaning movie for women..

The original Last House on the Left. AWFUL!!!

yeah they got pretty graphic didn't they?

This, and the remake both shocked me i really was dying to help the girls. It was really shocking.

Not sure how many of you have seen August Underground - that's out there

And i agree with whoever said Event Horizon 'Where we're going you won't need eyes to see!'

"What Lies Beneath" actually had me on the edge of my seat and so tense, that the contractions it forced me to have had me go into labor 7 weeks early with my daughter. That was all she needed. Had to be on bedrest for two weeks before she decided enough was enough. Never watched a scary movie again.

"The Exorcist"...I was 15 at the time and couldn't go to the bathroom at night without all the lights on for YEARS afterwards.

also "The Blair Witch Project"..when i lived in Md, the house where it was filmed and the woods were 5 minutes away.

    I HATE scarey movies.

For me it was The Grudge. It was the first really scary movie that I had ever watched. I was nine years old and my cousins promised that they would tell me to close my eyes when the scary parts came on. Needless to say, that held my eyelids open instead. I wouldn't shower for a week after that unless someone sat in the bathroom with me and I was petrified of dark corners. I haven't seen it since and I refuse to watch it.

Yea, I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Was it feminist? Was it just thinly velied tourture porn? Idk, but I like that it made me have a response. So much horror I watch and I'm just like "meh"
  • for me, it was The Entity... the woman was being raped by some entity, and it was supposedly based on a true story... gives me the heebie jeebies:(

Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I'm truly scarred from this movie.

I avoid carnivals and fairs at all costs because of this movie :frown:

    yes and yes yes!!

Jack Katchem's the girl next door was based on the true story about Sylvia Lycans and Gertrude Benichefski.. A more realistic movie based on this story is "an american crime".. also can be seen in investigation discovery's "deadly 'women" on netflix.

Love horror! I don't really get scared (or scarred) anymore, but I was ...disturbed by this list:

    The Girl Next Door
Last Houst on the Left (origional)
    Clockwork Orange

Emily Rose is the last movie to scare the *kitten* out of me.
Human Centipide 2 was disgusting, and because of that AWESOME! What a great bad guy! The first one was boring.
The Audition was cool if you're a fan of Japanese horror.
For some reason I saw the part of Watership Down where Bigwig is caught in a wire when I was five and that messed me up for a while.

I will be Netflixing some of these I haven't seen.
    Great list and topic!

I remember the Girl Next Door - that movie is based (loosely) on an actual case (Sylvia Likens).

yeah - this was horrible!! I remember they ate the monkey brains. That was horrendous.
I agree, Faces of Death made me sick to my stomach for weeks...and now that I read your post, I got a little ache.....
The scenes were more disturbing than any "movie" with fake blood and gore.... ishy
