Yes I'm a little bit bulky. But only because I still have a bit of fat to lose.
I was squatting 125 lb for 5 sets of 3 reps. Deloaded after being sick and am working my way back up. Soon it'll be the big plates :happy:

I'm squat pressing 3x5 225. BP 3x5 105
I weigh in at 185# 5'6" But that weight is steadily decreasing.
Even in my hayday I was bulky. My husband affectionately calls my legs "The Man Hams" lol I agree with other responses that it has to do with genetics. In example. I lift heavy and I'm bulky - My bestie pushes the same weight that I do and she's a Q-Tip and always has been.0 -
Let's drop the athletes pic discussion- I don't think it's really relevant to compare the bodies of olympic athletes in various sports to regular women who lift heavy. So......can someone please post the next set of MFP member pics!?!

Yes - and not overly. I have a large muscular frame to start. I dont feel I am any bulkier than your average person tho.0

Well, I'm workin' on it. I currently weigh around 163 and I am 5'5", so I do still have fat I want to get rid of. I've been lifting heavy since September of 2012, so I have a ways to go yet.0
