    August 1---3 hours line dancing----two hours walking in the neighborhood with the frisky poodles
    August 2---21/2 hours dog walking---2 hours line dancing---1 hour walking with a friend
    August 3--3 hours dog walking---3 hours line dancing--1 hour garden puttering
    August 4--2 hours dog walking--30 minutes garden puttering
    August 5--2 hours dog walking--1 hour garden puttering
    August 6--3 hours dog walking--1 hour garden puttering

    every day----100 squats or 100 warrior 3 poses and a 3 minute plank

    Updating to try to get these all on one page instead of new posts for each day:
    8/1 - Turbo Sculpt DVD which is a 40 minute workout.
    8/2 - 40 minute walk with my hubby.
    8/3 - 30 minute bike ride with my hubby. 91 degrees out at 7:30 pm when we rode bikes. This weather is crazy hot!
    8/4 - 40 minute walk with my hubby. Another hot one outside.
    8/5 - 45 minutes of yard work and then tonight will be going on a 45 minute bike ride with my hubby.
    8/6 - Rest day today. Gorgeous day out but just too tired to get out and enjoy it after my long day at work.

    and then started doing hand weights. :smile:

    Trying for no repeats in a week

    8/1 - Yoga 15 min
    8/2 - Biking - 58 min
    8/3 - Walking - 30 min
    8/4 - Cleaning - 20 min
    8/5 - Biking - 60 min
    8/6 - Walking - 70 min


    When life gets hectic I fall back on my fav exercises which are walking and biking.

    Did 75 mins of yoga... Yay!!!

    Wow! 15 minutes and I am exhausted!

    Aug 1 - 40 minute run followed by 10 minutes of pushups and abdominal leg lifts, and squats
    Aug 2 - 45 minute walk w/ dog
    Aug 3 - 75 crunches, Rest day
    Aug 4 - 40 minute run, 30 minutes of run 100 yards - calisthenic - repeat, 10 minute walk home.
    Aug 5 - 32 minute run stadium steps for Step Up for Cancer. Music blasting - It was FUN.
    aug 6 - 40 minutes cleaning & 75 crunches. Kind of resting. My calves are a little tight after all the stairs yesterday.

    Lots of new people today! Glad to have you all join us.

    1 August - official rest day - I am donating blood so won't be able to exercise however I have been told that when you donate blood the body uses 500 cals to replenish it - does this count as exercise ;-) - Managed to get in a nice brisk walk before donating blood ;-)
    2 August - ran 5k again - :-D - and did it a little bit quicker!!!!
    3 August - had guests for the weekend so didn't get any exercise in today
    4 August - quick 30 min wlak fitted in today
    5 August - 6 hour road trip so not a lot of scope for exercise
    6 August - woo hoo back on track with a 5 k run, not only that done outside for the first time AND at 6am!!!
    7 August - will be disappearing off for a nice long walk in the Cheshire hills today for an hour or so with my camera

    8/3 spinning class 75 minutes; 200 crunches; 100 crunches 25 lbs weights; 50 back extentions 10 lbs weights; 10 minutes stretching
    8/4 spinning class 70 minutes; 100 crunches; 100 crunches 25 lbs weights; 50 back extentions 10 lbs weights; 10 minutes stretching
    8/5 100 abdominal leg lifts; cardio REST
    8/6 spinning class 63 minutes; 200 crunches; 50 back extentions 10 lbs weights; 10 minutes stretching

    Aug 1 - Bike 25 min weights 40 min
    Aug 2 - Treadmill 20 min weights 35
    Aug 3 - Treadmill 30 min
    Aug 4 - Spent all day in ER with my daughter - so rest day? (she had a freak 'accident' - was walking and some idiot mowed her down with a bicycle!)
    Aug 5 - Another rest? day - she came home Sat, but needed a lot of help today
    Aug 6 - Bike 45 min
    Aug 7 - Treadmill 30 min weights 40 min:smile:

    Rita, I am so sorry to hear of your daughters accident. Glad you could be there with her. And glad to see you back here with us again. I would hardly call emotional turmoil "rest." You take care of yourself too, OK?

    8/4 - Pool fun all day
    8/5 - rest day
    8/6 - Lifted weights (ATG Squats, military press, bent rows) & walked 3 miles outside
    8/7 - Treadmill (14 minutes) & walked 3 miles outside

    8/1 - jogged 1 mile (for the first time in my life!!!!) & worked on arms with some dumbbells (30lbs total)
    8/2 - jogged 1.5 mile (for the first time in my life!!!!!) shooting for 2 straight miles next time!
    8/3 - 30 minute spin class and 2 softball games
    8/4 - nada
    8/5 - played in the pool with my kids, if that counts
    8/6 - jogged TWO miles and 2 softball games
    8/7 - 30 minute spin class & 30 minutes walking

    Not keeping up well but here's what i did get in.
    8-5-35 min walk
    8-6-56 min walk
    8-7-30 min circuit training which included pushups, squats, lunges, star jumps, russian twists, deadlifts, and some others. It was hard today but got it done.

    ummommyme - no worries, we're all just doing the best we can. It can be hard with kiddos, just keep coming back.

    8/1 a new month...... excited to be here.....situps walking and stretching.....
    8/2 awake early ..morning yoga to start:flowerforyou:
    8/3 50 squats morning yoga, running around all day at work seeing patients
    8/4 20 minutes turbo jam...:heart: 60 minutes mowing the lawn
    8/5 walked 10 miles using map my walk with my sister, 16 min mile hot but felt great....:glasses:
    8/6 walked about 20 minutes after work :bigsmile:
    8/7 15 minutes yoga:heart:
    8/8 morning yoga
