    since i've lost weight, my dad is constantly making inappropriate jokes alluding to an eating disorder. when i came down for breakfast last weekend he was like "good morning, you certainly look especially anorexic today!" etc. im like uhhh okay? thanks? i eat....

    A guy I had a crush on in high school: "so you used to be like this" (holding out his hands as a measure of size) "but now you're like ..." (widens hands). :huh:

    A former male boss: "There used to be a lady that worked here who, like you, had put on a lot of weight. And I said to her ' if you're not looking after yourself, then you're just letting yourself go'. So start looking after yourself!" ... I think in his mind he was giving me the most helpful advice ever. Yeah RIGHT!!!! :sad:

    Oh, and since I put on weight, I had a lot of people tell me I look like Adele. Yes, I think she's gorgeous too (and don't get me started on her phenomenal talent), but in my negative state of mind all I can think is "so I remind you of an overweight person?" I know that's not fair, and people are trying to be nice and compliment me, but ... :blushing:
