    Jillians Body Revolution disk 2...on my 2nd week of 12! I can do this! Also my hubby & I & our dog have a 7 mi hike scheduled for the 1st :)

    67 minutes 788 calories average HR 167 Max HR 187

    21 mins elliptical - level 7,
    25 mins cycle machine intervals of flat out at level 1/level 10 1 min on each
    21 mins sort of elliptical with pedals - like mountainclimber - level 10

    very satisfying as I pushed myself like mad and really looking forward to my next session

    I did 35 min, on the stationary bike...about 265 calories burned. It was a good way to ease back into the routine.

    I worked out my Legs >>Leg Press, Leg Extensions, Leg Curls, Walking Lunges, Squats, Calve Raises, plus I Jog 1 mile on the treadmill, Walked 1 Mile on treadmill, and 30 Minutes on the Elliptical. Great workout to be the last one of the year. Ready for a new year.

    went to my usual 6am "bootcamp" circuit training class. It's a 45 minute class that totally kicks my *kitten*! I wear an HRM and usually burn about 450 calories. Today I forgot to turn off my HRM for an extra 10 minutes whether burn was 521 calories. I've been going 3 days a week but am upping it to 5 days a week. So excited!

    Taught Zumba 60 minutes- approx 700 calorie burn. Done til tomorrow- another class to teach and then taking Body Pump!!

    I'm not done yet.

    So far I've run in place for 11 minutes in 2 installments for a burn of 119 calories. My Magne-Trainer's been having slippage issues, so running in place is Plan B. I intend to add more installments today and to slowly build up my endurance.

    But first: weights -- bicep and wrist curls, bench press, seated press, bent over rows, triceps extensions (or kickbacks, I haven't decided which yet), all with dumbbells.

    And I got in a pretty good workout snaking out the toilet. o_O

    I started my new weightlifting routine, never done it before, its my challenge for the new year:

    I did 3 sets of between 12 and 20 reps with 3kg dumbells as a starting point.

    Shoulder Press
    Upright Rows
    Bench Press
    Bentover Rows
    Pull overs
    One legged squats
    step ups
    straight leg deadlits
    Single calf raises
    and Sit ups to finish.

    I then did 10 minutes of Interval Training on the treadmill at 3mph for 30 secs and 6mph for 30 secs
    I then did 10 minutes walk on treadmill at 2/3mph to cool it all down.

    Feeling well worked, thinking I may be sore tomorrow, but just planning 30 mins of cardio in fat burning range.
