3,500+ Calories Burned Challenge: Mon, 01/14- Sun, 01/20

Welcome everyone to the 3,500+ calories burned challenge. This weekly challenge has been going on for over a year now and it's open to everyone! So nice to see so many new faces these last few weeks - hope it continues; people are setting higher goals and getting more calories burned!

This is a weekly challenge to meet 3,500+ calories burned. You set your own calorie goal for the week (even if it's below 3,500 - you can work your way to that goal!). Each day post the calories you burned, current total and how many you have to go. That's it, not too hard, other than push push pushing yourself to hit your goal. Everyone is such an inspiration on this challenge. Keep up the good work for the people returning and welcome to the newbies.

    Mon: 40 minutes on the Planet Fitness Arc Trainer (cybex) 614 calories burned, plus light weight lifting at the machines
    Tues: 40 minutes on the Planet Fitness Arc Trainer (cybex) 595 calories burned, plus light weight lifting at the machines
    Wed: 40 minutes on the Planet Fitness Arc Trainer (cybex) 608 calories burned, plus light weight lifting at the machines
    Thur: 40 minutes on the Planet Fitness Arc Trainer (cybex) 614 calories burned, plus light weight lifting at the machines
    Fri: 40 minutes on the Planet Fitness Arc Trainer (cybex) 611 calories burned, plus light weight lifting at the machines

    I use P2 Hill Climb while I work out on this machine. High resistance and low incline for Hill Climbing. It kicks my butt!

    I'm back and I mean it this time :-) I'm doing a challenge for most calories burned so this will help me with the math and hold me more accountable :-) gonna start with 3,500 and see what happens :-)

    Back for week 4 for me. LOVE this challenge. Since I exceeded my goal last week & a bit early too, I think it's time to kick it up a notch....just to see what I can do....& to kick my butt in gear! :wink: ....Let's see if 3,800 will be enough of a challenge!!!! :tongue:
