Kenpo was awesome this morning. Looking forward to my rest day (and pancake) tomorrow.

I feel like such a slacker taking a rest day today! But I know it's good for me, and it is kind of nice to have an extra hour or so for other stuff.

Tomorrow is Day 1 of Week 4 for those of us who started April 26. I just looked at the schedule, and it's Yoga X. Now I don't feel a bit guilty for taking today off. LOL.

I am doing Kenpo today to make up for yesterday. Waiting for my lunch to digest before I dive in!

Went camping this weekend and then got back this afternoon. Had to squeeze Chest, shoulders, and triceps in. Didn't have time for Ab Ripper. Next weekend I am going to be away for 3 days! Yikes! One is my rest day and I am thinking of bringing my laptop camping so I can do Chest, shoulders, and triceps and then Plyo while camping. We will be hiking lots but just not sure how to fit them in. I guess I will have to figure it out when the time comes

KenpoX this morning. Feeling much better and gave it all I had. Love Kenpo  Weighed in this morning, I know I was supposed to wait a month :blushing: but I have now lost 15.9lbs and I am BELOW 200!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic job!! Me being the dummy I am, lol, just measured myself for the first time this morning. I will know after phase 2 what my progress is, but I have no clue what my measurements were before I started phase 1. I have Core Syn tonight and I am pumped. In 3 days I start Phase 2 which looks a little insane, but I am looking forward to it. Happy Monday everyone!!

Did 60 min of Yoga this morning. My lower back is really sore so I am looking forward to Recovery week. Tomorrow I am having some outpatient surgery so it will definitely be a rest day. Not sure if I will be up to exercising by Wednesday or not but I am not going to push things if I am still feeling tender. Hope you all have a great Monday!

Plyo done. It has been a hard couple of weeks for me. I have been feeling just generally yucky. I keep pushing through it though. I think I am just doing so much that maybe I need a day where I just laze around sleeping and doing nothing. I coach 2 baseball teams plus doing P90x and any other exercise I can fit in. Even my rest days are not rest days. A nap is in order today.

ilovehkn: That sucks. It was my measurements that kept me going into the second phase. But gives you something to look forward too at the end of the next phase

cynthials: Hope you get better soon

Good luck with your surgery, cynthials.

mommyhof3, I hope you feel better soon. It sounds like you DO need a day where you laze around. Coaching two teams, plus P90X, plus other exercise you can fit in? That's ambitious! Maybe you should consider at least cutting out the "other" exercise, you wild woman!

I'm feeling a little out of sorts myself. I don't feel bad enough to say I feel sick, but I just feel tired and a little achy. I hope the Yoga X I'm about to do will rejuvenate me. Either that, or it will completely do me in!

    Have a great Monday, everybody.

I have been under some extra stress this last week so my workouts have not happned. My eating also took a dive... This just means that I have to do week 3 over again.
Finished legs and back this morning. I road my bike into work, I am hopping my legs still work when I have to make it home:huh:

Hope everyones workouts are going well.

Back & Biceps, Ab Ripper done for me today. Tomorrow is Yoga and yes I am going to try it again lol I did a little research yesterday because I have been so out of sorts lately and decided to try having a glass of chocolate milk after my workouts. Was not so sure about it this morning because I was feeling sick after working out but drank it anyways and I feel so much better. Not dizzy, lightheaded, or nauseous. Maybe this chocolate milk thing really does work lol

robynrae_1 Yikes! And tomorrow you have Kenpo?! Am I right? Your poor legs lol

Hope everyone has an awesome workout today :)

Tonight is my least favorite Kenpo, but I am going to throw on some music and just do it!! I am sore from push ups last night, with Core Syn. Perhaps it will be a nice change from Cardio X.

I'm about to do Core Synergistics for the first time in almost a year. I always liked that one. We'll find out shortly if I still do!

Just finished Core. I haven't been able to force myself to do the bonus round yet during this workout and have decided that starting next week I will. I probably could have today, since I still feel like I have some energy left but I still want to run later so didn't.

mommyhof3: Chocolate milk after a workout? Is it supposed to mimic a recovery drink? I may have to do some research of my own...

    Great workouts today everyone!!!

Ahh, that was awesome! Now I remember why I liked Core Syn so much. It's really a great, well-rounded workout. I'm glad I get to do it again this week!

Annalisa, lowfat chocolate milk is a great substitute for the recovery drink!

    Lunchtime, and I am hungry!

And cheaper than protein powders (if you can keep your kids and husband out of it lol)

Yes it really helped me. I was a nonbeliever but had to do something because I was really feeling drained. It worked well. I am impressed

Yoga today. A first for me, I did the wheel for the whole time! Normally I just do the wheel for a little bit then go down to bridge. But not today!

Thanks Ladies! I'm gonna have to get to the store then. I haven't had any chocolate in a couple months so this will be a great treat!

So even though I said I had Kenpo last night, it was actually Yoga. I looked at my calendar wrong. I am actually sore from the yoga today. I tried to pay attention to my breathing, and focused on doing the moves correctly and I think it made a difference. Happy hump day p90xers!!

I am impressed! I don't think I'll ever do wheel for more than just a little bit. It's hard for me to have my neck in that position. I had a couple of discs removed and the vertebrae fused together back in '01.

I am still recovering from my surgery yesterday (tubal ligation). I am pretty sore and will probably take until Friday to heal up. I am glad I scheduled this during recovery week!

You take however much time you need, cynthials. I bet you'll be raring to go by Friday!

mommyhof3, I used to hate the Yoga too, but for some weird reason, I like it now. Just a glutton for punishment, I guess!

I can't believe how fast this is going! I'll be starting Phase 2 Monday. Does anybody else feel like this is going faster than you expected? I'm feeling a little pressure to have more impressive results here pretty soon.
