This was lunch recently. Piquillo peppers stuffed with brown rice, ground beef, mushrooms and carrots, with mozzarella on top.

Pulled pork sandwich (red cabbage-apple-sesame slaw)

PB & J (PB mousse between chocolate cake with macerated berries)

Expensive is relative I suppose, it's more that I eat a lot that makes the bill add up, the actual dishes at most places are moderately priced0 -

^^I left the walnuts out and did not use the powdered sugar.
The PB frosting was adapted from this recipe:

I used 1 TBS margarine, 1 TBS PB, just a dribble of vanilla and milk, and 1/2 cup confectioners sugar. The frosting was TO DIE FOR!!!!!0 -

Breakfast quiche bulk cooked for the week (Italian herbs, ham and pineapple)
"Eggplant bruschetta" (baked eggplant, cream cheese, spinach, flavored canned tomatoes and balsamic vinegar)
