I think the before and the 30 day are pretty obvious! How embarrassing. Makes me sick just looking at those pictures. I know I still have a long way to go, and it's sad that it's only 8 pounds lost, but I'm going to get there.
Oh and before are 193lbs, day 30 are actually 187lbs I think...and now today I'm at 185.0 -
Brittany - the results are visible and astounding. Please don't beat yourself up for where you were. That was the beginning of your journey. Now you are progressing along your path and doing quite well at it. :drinker:
I too started out in the 190s (193.6 to be exact) and the road to 150 has been LOOOOOONG and difficult to maintain at all times. I am so proud of you for posting those pics. Day 60 will be even better. Can't wait to see them when you get there.
Remember, I am always here if you need anything...extra support, a shoulder to lean on (or cry on), a kick in the butt...WHATEVER. Just keep going...you will see the 140s before you know it I promise!

Hi Ladies! Today I did Burn Circuit 1 and was able to do all shoulder/delt work with my 10 lb weights and all lower body work with my 20s. So excited to see that progress.
Have a great weekend!

Nice job Moraima! Enjoy your weekend!

Good Morning Lovely Ladies! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Sunday is a rest day for me so I won't be logging anything but I wanted to let you all know I'm thinking about you.
Get ready for another fantastic week ahead!
Sharon0 -
Thank you, everyone, for your kind words! I appreciate the comments and support!
Today I did P90X Plyo and a treadmill run! Tomorrow I start the shakeology cleanse, and it is my rest day so that works out well so I can see how I feel. Plus its my 10 hour day at work which helps because then I have no available food to be snacking on...just what I bring!!! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! Will check in tomorrow evening.0 -
I got in fire 30 and abs 10 today, going to do a bit more tomorrow since it's almost like a day of no work for me. fire 45 is in store and I'll add in something else lol
Hope everyone had a good weekend!0 -
Okay, horrible weekend... I quit smoking on Saturday and I have been feeling weird all weekend. I started eating to compensate but that stops here.... I've pre-planned my meals for today and I've pre-logged the exercise I will do. One day at a time...0
-
Great job quitting smoking Jrr...you're right one day at a time!

Good morning ladies! The little man wanted to wake up early today so here we are before work! Today is my long day so 24 oz of water plus 3 packets of shakeology plus a little ice all went in the blender this am...amazing how that turned into SIX CUPS!!! So one two cup shake down and 2 to go today for my first day of the cleanse. It actually wasn't too bad...which means with milk it is probably amazing! And I had a few strawberries with it which was delicious! I've already outlined my entire menu for the day so I know exactly what I'm having...and it will be the same for today, tomorrow, and Wednesday!
I don't currently have a scale in my house because I returned the inconsistent and inaccurate one yesterday...but couldn't get a replacement since they didn't have a comparable one in stock! Will definitely get one by Friday, but thinking it might be good to wait until Thursday evening to buy it!
Have a great Monday everyone!0 -

Good Morning All! Turbo Fire day so I did Fire 60 with weighted gloves. Burned 411 calories.
Brittany you are awesome! Let me know if you need anything from me during the cleanse. I am so excited to hear your results!!!! Did you weigh and measure yourself this morning so you know your starting point?
Have a great day everyone! I'm around if you need anything!
Sharon0 -
Good morning, Did turbo fire 45 today burned 500 cals.
Good luck with your cleans Britney
congrats on the quitting smoking jrr, I quite 13 years ago and it was the best thing I could have done for myself. I rewarded myself after with a dentist teeth whitening, (where you get the trays, not the zoom stuff) If I could do it smoking almost 3 packs a day, I think anyone can do it!!! take it one hour at a time, and just think that if you start again, you'd have wasted all those hours not smoking hehe thats what I did!0 -

I did a 30 minute run and 10 minute row yesterday evening on top of my usual 50 min walk to and from work.
Stayed within my calorie allotment (had a bit of a touch and go moment with banana bread but managed to only eat one slice) and no cigarettes! In the middle of day 3 and it is getting easier...
Today's burn - planning a 20 minute run and 20 min stationary cycle.
I've put on about 3lbs - should be water weight - from my misdemeanour over the weekend... here's hoping it leaves my body quickly and that i'm back down by this weekend...0 -

Happy Tuesday Ladies! ChaLEAN Extreme day today so I did Burn Circuit 2 and I've Got Abs. Owww my abs are sore!!!
What's on tap for you all today?

Good morning ladies! Day two of the cleanse has officially started. AND GUESS WHAT?! I had a FROSTY for breakfast! HAHAHA...seriously that is what it is like today! I still mixed all 3 of my daily packets with the 24oz of water, but instead of ice, since I am allowed a small amount of fruit for the day, I mixed in frozen strawberries with my shakeology. Added 150 calories, but I won't be snacking on any other fruit throughout the day with it so I think thats okay (is this okay Sharon?!)! I hope it's okay because it is DELICIOUS! A chocolate strawberry frosty that is 100% EXCELLENT FOR YOU!
Suprisingly, I wasn't hungry at all throughout the day! And I felt good, felt like I had a normal amount of energy and wasn't dragging through my work day or anything! Today I'm going to workout since I'm feeling up to it!
I took my "starting" weight and measurements on Sunday and will post the "afters" on Thursday, as I plan to take them first thing Thursday morning.
OH - and just if anyone is interested - my diary is open to friends so feel free to friend me or have a look if we are already friends!0 -
Brittany I was going to check in with you this morning to see how day 1 went so I'm happy you posted here! Not only is what you did absolutely fine, you could have still added ice if you wanted the shakes to be even thicker (it would have turned out like ICE CREAM!!!!) You're making this cleanse look easy!
What did you put in your salad and did you eat it for dinner or for lunch? Are you drinking the green tea?
Hope day 2 is equally good for you! Can't wait to hear more.

Thanks Sharon! So far so good! I am really looking at my budget so I can fit Shakeology in on a regular basis!
I had the salad for dinner last night. I added 4oz grilled chicken, a small amount of avocado, and some grape tomatoes with a light balsalmic vinagrette dressing! Delicious! I'm going to have the same again tonight, for dinner...although might add some carrots in! I think it ended up being like 300 calories or so. I haven't been drinking the green tea...but managed to get in 4 liters of water yesterday! I usually do 2 liters so to double that was AMAZING! I have green tea so may try a cup today with my lunch.
Will keep everyone posted and let you know how my workout goes for the day!0 -

YUM Brittany! Your salad sounds delish! The green tea is supposed to contain fat burning properties so definitely try to fit in at least 1 if not 2 cups per day. Beachbody makes a Slimming Formula that contains green tea extract and pyruvate which also helps with fat burning. I take them every day as part of my supplement routine. Don't forget I have a solution that might interest you for how to save money on your Shakeology purchases. We can talk off line if you're interested in hearing more...or you can read my latest blog post to see what I'm talking about.
WTG on doubling your water consumption...you should be shedding fat, salt, among other things, like CRAZY during the cleanse. You are doing so well!

Feeling a little down today, haven't seen much progress since eating my exercise calories and since starting turbo fire, I'm off to workout0
-
Moraima, perhaps you should consider decreasing your calories a bit to see if that impacts the scale. I'm always hesitant to recommend people eat their exercise calories because even HRMs aren't 100% accurate. I would try eating only half your exercise calories to start and see if that has any effect on the scale. You can always increase in 100 calorie increments if you start losing too fast.
Great job staying with your workouts though. I'm sure your body is tightening and toning from all that work!
Sharon0 -
Ok Sharon, I choked down 2 cups of green tea today! It's absolutely horrid without adding sugar!
Let me just tell you ladies, if any of you are considering the shakeology cleanse, feel free to ask details! I am loving it! I feel awesome and have tons of energy; I was able to complete both p90x chest/shoulders/triceps AND insanity pure cardio today.
I'm off to enjoy half of my last shake post-workout; I'm saving the other half for dessert after dinner!
Have a great evening ladies!0 -

Moraima,
You are doing awesome! Keep up the good work and try not to get discouraged! How long have you been doing turbo fire now?0 -

Great job with no cigarettes, and with only eat4ing one slice of banana bread! I'm sure those 3 pounds will come off in no time!0
