    I started 30DS! Level 1 day 2 along with my elliptical. Move stubborn scale move!!

    TRUST ME, shred WILL move the scale.


    I hope so I started it last week too!

    regular workouts were giving me 1-2lb weekly lose, my first full week of adding shred I lost 5. Probably water weight from the sweating LOL.

    I had reached a plateau -- the scale has been bouncing up and down for about 3 weeks now. So glad it bounced my way this week -- to be honest, it could have gone either way.

    I didn't exactly do anything "new" since I am still struggling with the workouts. It's really hard to get moving after 20 years of being sedentary! Anyway, I decided to change my workouts slightly -- I was doing 30 minutes of strength/yoga, and then ending with 20 minutes of cardio. Now I'm trying to do strength/yoga every other day for an hour and do more cardio every other day for an hour. Started Thursday with cardio, and Friday with strength/yoga. I'm in pain -- but it feels good!

    Random question of the day: What is a success you've had this week?


    I was able to wear my size 8 work capri pants all day without any problems (and NO muffin top!). I haven't worn them since before my son was born in 2008.

    Also, I walked out of the grocery store the other day without buying ANY sweets...even though I walked past the donut case 5 times, I didn't take any home! :bigsmile:
    I was told by others that they could see me weight loss. :)
