I hope so I started it last week too!
regular workouts were giving me 1-2lb weekly lose, my first full week of adding shred I lost 5. Probably water weight from the sweating LOL.0 -

I had reached a plateau -- the scale has been bouncing up and down for about 3 weeks now. So glad it bounced my way this week -- to be honest, it could have gone either way.
I didn't exactly do anything "new" since I am still struggling with the workouts. It's really hard to get moving after 20 years of being sedentary! Anyway, I decided to change my workouts slightly -- I was doing 30 minutes of strength/yoga, and then ending with 20 minutes of cardio. Now I'm trying to do strength/yoga every other day for an hour and do more cardio every other day for an hour. Started Thursday with cardio, and Friday with strength/yoga. I'm in pain -- but it feels good!0 -

Random question of the day: What is a success you've had this week?
I was able to wear my size 8 work capri pants all day without any problems (and NO muffin top!). I haven't worn them since before my son was born in 2008.
Also, I walked out of the grocery store the other day without buying ANY sweets...even though I walked past the donut case 5 times, I didn't take any home! :bigsmile:0 -

I'm down 2 lbs from what I was on Thursday. I had to take a picture of the scale proclaiming "140.4", but I'm not counting it as my weigh-in for fear that it will be back up tomorrow. No more getting on the scale for me until Monday when I do my official weigh-in for my Easter challenge and then not again till Thursday. Hopefully I'll still be at 140 (or lower!!) at that time and I can actually claim it as a success.
I started jogging again (I'm not very fast but at least I'm steady). I "ran" 3.5 miles on the treadmill last Monday, and another 3.25 miles on Friday at the track. If the weather isn't bad, my husband and I may try running together tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.0 -
Gained 2 lbs and not surprised since I dropped calorie counting for the week. Hope to do better next week!
