I usually start with a green smoothie unless I'm rushing then I grab a banana. I'm experimenting with protein powders in my green smoothies. I will post the daily recipes of the ones that I like here: community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10000838/smoothie-recipes

I like to have Chobani 2% coconut yogurt with a tbsp of sliced almonds, and a 1/4 cup of chocolate Cheerios. It's so good.

Added strawberries, blue berries and red raspberries to my usual mix.

Also had some melon from the garden. There is only a couple more left, then it will be a long cold melonless winter.

Well that looks amazing! I love pork chops for breakfast! I had crêpes with homemade chocolate whipped cream, and I licked my plate, but now I honestly want a pork chop so bad.

Red beans and (brown) rice with turkey sausage. About 2 cups total. I love random leftovers for breakfast!
  • I had an apple and a vegan chai latte. Not the healthiest or the best option but it was a fun morning.

It was after noon, but since this was my 1st meal of the day, I'm putting it here. Stir-fry. mixed veggies and green beans, eggs, Parmesan & Romano pork chops, toast and my latest stir-it-up. Very good.

Yesterday was a late night at work, {as well as a big eating day} so I slept in and cooked breakfast instead of lunch after my workout. 576 calories, which is a little less than my everyday breakfast.

I have found I rather enjoy a sweet potato hash, with onions, bell peppers, cookedup in some olive oil! And a couple of nice, nitrate free, filler free sausages! And a nice glass of Orange Juice. I was bad this morning though and had an apple danish. Bad idea!

I have made a few changes to my witch's brew. I reduced the honey granola by half, and cut out all the milk. But I added more Greek vanilla yogurt. I was out of my smoothie blend, and too lazy to make any this morning. And the last few days I have been adding mango instead of the berry blend. {I bought a lot of mango snack cups on sale that need using} This gets me in at around 530 calories, leaving more room for snacks and meals.

Someone on MFP suggested this, so I gave it a try. Cube and apple and microwave it for one minute. Mix it with cottage cheese and raisins and whatever sweetener you like. I used cottage cheese with pineapple, so I didn't add sweetener, and I also added a few chopped pecans and some cinnamon. Let it sit in the fridge overnight. Really yummy!

I don't have to go in to work until early afternoon. So we had a real breakfast this morning. Bacon, eggs, green beans and toast. Yum.

I had one of my favorite porridge recipes ... it may sound strange but it tastes so good to me.

1 1/2 cups municipal tap water
1 Eggland's Best Large grade AA egg
1 scoop Walker's Diet Protein Shake powder - Peach flavor (1/2 a serving)
1/2 cup Quaker Old Fashion Oats - dry
1 cup Wegman's Organic Triple Washed Baby Spinach

Mix everthing all together and microwave in a glass bowl for 5 minutes. Stir and let cool slightly. slurp it up!
  • Today was one egg with sliced spring onion! :) It was so good with a glass of raspberry tea! :D

I added green beans and stir-fry veggies to a nice medley of sausage, bacon, turkey burger and rotisserie chicken breast. Also had a couple of eggs and toast. 664 calories and 62g of protein. But I did skip lunch. I slept in and this was my lifting day, so everything was pushed back.
