    What would I have done differently? nothing.
    What is today's personal goals? to reach 12,000+ steps
    Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc...)? my new heart rate monitor... & i stayed within my min/ max heart rate for 1hr 19 min out of 1hr 40 min of walking.
    Mood today? good...

    Hi everyone, my name is Mica. I'm new to the group. I'm 5'1 and I weigh 212 pounds. This is the heaviest I have been, and I'm terrified. In 2013, I had reached 200 pounds, and I dropped down to 160. Due to a job change (which turned out to be a nightmare!), I fell back into old eating habits, and stopped running. I gained back the 40 pounds I lost, and gained an additional 12. I hope to make new friends on MFP. Thanks for listening.

    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? I didn't set a personal goal for yesterday....
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? I didn't help myself to a 2nd serving of dessert.
    What would I have done differently? I would've gone for a walk around the neighborhood.
    What is today's personal goals? Go to bootcamp

    meal plan for diabetics. I hope it will help my coaster ride of weight loss.

    What is today's personal goals? Dr. apt. check up and exercise and keep with my plan

    What is today's personal goals? its late today so I will say that tomorrow I hope to go for my walk run since I have a later start to my work day.

    KeriA -- Glad your root canal is over, but sorry you had to have one. I am so scared of those!

    1stPaul -- Welcome back! Yes, I can't wait until we have some of our old features back... I sure hope we get them!

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? stayed under in calories even though it was my birthday! Fought off the ice cream craving, too.

    Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc. )Yes, 2 Skinny Cow products: "Dreamy Clusters candy" 120 cals/pouch-- Yuck! I thought they have nuts in them, but it is rice Krispies.
    And, "Divine Filled Chocolates candy". It is Chocolate covered Caramel. These are delicious!!! 130 calories per pouch.

    Goldk - as far as 'changing my thinking', I'm trying to get back to a place where my health is a top priority again (weightloss being a big part of that). It has been a super stressful year for lots of reasons and I really let that get to me ... a lot of my bad eating and not getting in enough exercise is because I've felt like I just can't handle everything at once, and it's easier not to try. But things are looking up, and feeling crappy because I've gained so much weight back isn't helping anything. So it's time to stop my pity-party and start concentrating on getting healthier - mind and body.

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? I did manage to ignore the muffins in the break room
    What would I have done differently? for some reason I made cinnamon rolls and had two of them at bedtime, along with some cereal - I didn't need that. I also got in no exercise - should have done that instead of eating more.
    What is today's personal goals? Walking, tracking
    Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc. )? No
    Mood today? ok

    Mood today? :'( Worrying about my friend, her doctor says she only has a week maybe more left. <3

    Just walked to pick up my blood work results - cholesterol is a little high - LDL is low HDL is high. I thought that was a good thing.

    Thanks! My year has sucked too :-( My 13 year old daughter is well... 13...hating everyone and everything (except her phone and friends)... LOL and not having my mom around is taking a toll on me too. The grieving process is long. I try to make good choices. I try to get my workouts in but here I am pretty much where I started in 2009. I understand when you say you can't handle everything at once. I know that some day we will not have to think about this and we will just adapt to a new healthy lifestyle - with limited pizza, wings, beer, cheese, bread, sweets, etc... LOL There is no quick fix. Hang in there. You are not alone. We are going to figure this out <3
