3500 calories equals 1 pound

So my goal is losing 4-5 pounds a month.

I want to lose 40 pounds to start off with
So it's going to take at least 8 months if I keep at it. It can be very discouraging.

Usually burning 500-700 calories a day and strength training has helped me before.

What's your goal?

    Well I need to lose 100 lbs !! I gained it within about 6 months so I need to lose it asap. I'm already down 11.5 in 20 days.. !! Running out of ideas of what to eat!!

    The ideas of what to eat are hard for me! If I didn't have my kids to feed I would probably buy lean cuisines and Special K cereal.

    Your picture doesn't look like it if it is recent but I know you are the only one that knows what weight is right for you. Hope myfitnesspal is helping start a routine. For me it's kept me motivated to have cardio to log in so I been pushing myself to go to the gym even when I don't want to

    I totally added that 81 by accident lol 8 is an amazing start. Do you have to workout often?

    Hey! I am currently 116 kg so around 257 kg, the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I want to lost 10 lb this month. I used to weight 98kg but I want to weight in at 70 kg one day.

    I exercise for now once a day for just 15 minutes. I use a stationary bike. I am planning to ease back into exercise. Next week I aim for 20. Then the week after 30. By the beginning of April I plan to start the 30 day shred.

    We can do it together. It's hard & I'm worried. But we can do it. :)

    Currently I am trying to workout atleast 5 days a week so Monday-Friday

    Right now my goal is to do an hour of cardio or burn atleast 700 calories.

    When I get back to the habit of working out like I use to I will start working out for 2 hours. 1 hour of cardio and 1 hour of strength
