What's your goals for today?

My goals today are-
1. Count every calorie
2. Drink 10 cups of water
3. Jump rope 5x today for 5-10 minutes since I won't be able to get all steps in.
Just got home from work.
I completed all but the jump roping. I got 3/5 sessions done, but I did get 7k steps in today at work. So I am happy with today's results.

Nice job!0 -

Homemade chicken fingers sound delicious. And I hope you made it through the day.0 -
RebekahRN83 wrote: »Saturday goals
#1 get 10,000 steps in
#2 get house work done
#3 eat less than 1,500 calories
Hit them all for Saturday!
#1 currently just over 13,000 steps for the day (and 105 flights of stairs)
#2 well ok, I did miss cleaning one of the bathrooms, but did get the other 2 bathrooms cleaned, whole house vacuumed, dishes and laundry done, etc
#3 squeezed out at 1,453 calories.
How did you do staying under your calories @Treehugger_88 ?
Everyone is doing wonderful! So glad we can stay motivated/accountable this way.0 -
I am SOOOooo hoping to get under 250 pounds tomorrow. The scale has read exactly 250 a time or two, and then goes back up. 250 pounds is the max weight for an exercise ball I have and am eager to use it.
Goals for Sunday:
#1 8,000 steps
#2 less than 1,500 calories
#3 8 glasses of water
#4 do atleast 10 minutes of strength training (i.e. pushups, biceps curls with weights, planks, squats, etc)0 -
My goal for today is to stay away from Panera Bread, it's my one weakness!! xD1
-
Do some type of exercise every day.1
-
My goal today is to have a better day than yesterday. Yesterday I logged nothing, I ate everything and didn't even try to keep track of my snacking.
Now I am a firm believer that a blow out everynow and again doesn't hurt... but this is only my day 5 'on plan' after nearly 18 months not on any sort of plan and I have a long way to go before I get back to where I was.
Week days are easier to me, I'm out of the house busy and I exercise on route, either cycle or walk, a comfy home life at the weekend is my hurdle. Do more, Eat less, Be accountable!
Best of luck1 -
My goal for today is to enjoy the glorious sunshine doing outdoor exercise and to eat 1400 calories after yesterday's celebrations.0

@RebekahRN83
So I'm late for Friday, but I still want to reach out. You only missed your goal by 60 calories, so that is still phenomenal in my book !
As for Saturday all I gotta say is......WOO HOOOO! ! That is wonderful! You crushed your goals!
Housework is always a nonfitness related goal, so thIs goal you made is one after my own heart. So, hearing the listed of things you completed at your house yesterday is inspiring and for Sunday that is going to be one of my goals and it will be dedicated to you!0 -

Lol. I had to reread to understand. Lol. You're the exercise ball. Lol. Very clever. (Unless I got it wrong and I still don't understand )And the way you've been going with your goals, I think it will be favorable!
Great goals! I'll be checking on you today.0 -
Treehugger_88 wrote: »@RebekahRN83 got it, thanks! 2/3 nice job! I also hit all my goals except for my caloric one. Was a few hundred over though, oh well, tomorrow's another day. Let's hit our calorie goal tomorrow!!!

My today was 3/4:

3. 1700, oops.
4. 4 bottles, check.
Tomorrow:
1. 45 min workout
2. 15,000 steps
3. <1500 cals
4. 4 bottles water
@Treehugger_88

I hope you have a better day today too. Check back with us to let us know.
Home life can be difficult. I struggle with mindless snacking and being a cough or bed potato.
Let's both do this:
Do more, Eat less, Be accountable!
I read that from a wise person once .0 -
Sunday goals:
-Eat like a man
-Clean my bedroom
-Garden for 1 hour
-Drink 8 cups of water
-Get 10k steps
PS... Eat like a man--my man. Lol. My hubby eats very well his work week because he has a personal chef. ME! So I am going to make sure what I feed him today I eat as well, which means a huge salad and huge serving of fruits. I would like to adapt this going forward, but let's see how today goes. Cutting all this extra is tiring. Lol. I know excuses. Lol0 -
Eat within my calorie count and burn calories cleaning the yard.0

@tbolashana Good quote: Do more, Eat less, Be accountable!. Hope all the veg and fruit chopping is going well today and you are getting closer to reaching your Sunday goals.
Like everyone else, I was out enjoying the sun and above 0 temps yesterday, spring is finally here!!! Definitely got in my steps, water and HIIT workout. The cals I thought I'd succeeded but when I calculated them this morning I was a bit over. Went out for a friends birthday last night and thought I was being good by drinking vodka and water instead of mixing it with pop. Who knew a bit of vodka had so many calories...I guess I should have...lesson learned...
So 3/4 again yesterday.
Today:
1. 45 min HIIT workout
2. 4000 fp ---13,000 steps
3. no dessert
4. <1400 cals

LOL. I wish I was that clever. No, it's literally a large ball that is meant to be sat on (to work your core), or use for things like sit-ups. It feels like a rubber material and you blow it up with air using a pump.
Weight went UP 1.2 pounds over night despite definitely being in a calorie deficit (I do weigh my food). Still not under 250. Gonna chalk it up to the muscle soreness from my hike yesterday (so must be retaining fluid).
I decided to re-measure myself (haven't done that since I first started thanksgiving 2015)....big difference in numbers!!

Sunday update:
#1 check (got over 10,000 steps)
#2 basically met it (ate 1,509 calories)
#3 check (drank 8 glasses)
#4 ended up working in the garden for 3 hours. Squatting down to plant corn, raking and using a hoe, pounding stakes into the ground, pulling weeds, etc. I'm going to count it as a successful day
@LexiWillcox did you avoid panera? I'm with you; their food is so good!0 -
Goals for the week
#1 atleast 8,000 steps/day
#2 8 gasses of water/day
#3 eat less than 1,500 calories/day
#4 get 30% of calories from protein
Number 1 is going to take some effort but is doable.
Number 4 is something I was doing earlier this year and the weight was flying off. I'm hoping that will get me out of my rut.
I've cut up and portioned out 3 servings of vegetables for each day of this week, weighed my popcorn into servings for the week, filled my med cassette with my multivitamins and allergy med, and have my clothes picked out and ready for the week.
Let the week begin!0 -
Goals for today... No soda, no fast food and at least eight cups of water. Stuck at home with a sick kid, so I won't be able to get to the gym. Maybe a walk tonight if the rain holds off.0
-
Monday's goal- No sugar!0
-
Under calorie goal and do my workout before bed haha0
-
So I didn't complete my goals for Sunday and didn't have a chance to writem down any for today. But today I got 14,200 steps in, went for a couple of walks today, and drank 8 cups of water. So I felt like I did pretty good today. I am pretty tired so I am going to go to sleep and check on you guys tomorrow. Good night.0

@tbolashana I have a similar update. I was only 1/4 on Sunday, but had a great day yesterday with 14,000 steps, under 1200 cals, drank 4 water bottles and a 50 min workout. Goals for today:
1. 45 min HIIT workout
2. 14,000 steps
3. under 1200 cals
4. drink 4 water bottles
5. no dessert other than froz berries!0 -

Monday update: got 3 out of 4. The one I missed was #1...only got 7,500 steps in. I was just too tired by the end of the night to get those other 500 steps.

Today's goals
- Eat between 1200-1300 calories -> Succes! (If I don't eat anymore today)
- Weigh everything! -> Eh, I didn't weigh my apple.. But I'm fairly sure it was just 100 grams (a very small apple), weighed everything else though!
- Eat healthy and be happy about it instead of craving snacks -> Finally succeeded at this... The clue seemed to eat breakfast later, be active and busy throughout the day and eat more often after 2 PM (something small every hour)..
- Eat 2 portions of fruit and three portions of vegetables. -> Big succes today, yay
- Get 10,000 steps -> Already on 11,000 and I still need to walk the dog for a second time.
- Stop eating after 8 PM -> Have to wait and see for this one!
First good day after a long week of binge-eating...1 -
tbolashana wrote: »I would like to write down my goals for everyone to see to become more accountable and maybe you'll do the same.
You can just come back right here and tell me out yourself if you've achieved what you set out to do for the day. It's that simple.
So hopefully, it won't be only me taking to myself , but if so then be it. Lol. You don't really know me, so you can't look at me crazy in real life . Lol
So..... what's your goals for today?
Well, I already went to the gym so my goals are more so housework oriented. I am striving to get everything on my to-do list completed and stretch before bed0 -
4/19- water! Water! WATER. going to make sure I'm hydrated today.0
