Yeah, sorry, the chart is definitely too busy for small screens.
I use nothing less than 13" to read it and my workspace is dual 24s.
I assume an iPad would be ok but I don't have one to check.

this is great work. Can it be stickied? Because this would be a chart I would refer back to.0

andrikosDE wrote: »Below you can see the link to the Google Spreadsheet that I created containing 318 foods (as of 5th Sept. 2015) which shows the following:
Column Title Meaning
A P%Cal Rank Ranking of food by Protein Kcal / Total Cals (Highest is ranked 1st)
B Food Food Name
C Food Category 1 of 12 food categories
D Kcal Caloric content of 100g of food (EU standard)
E Protein Protein content per 100g of food (also doubles as a percentage)
F Carb Carb content per 100g of food (also doubles as a percentage)
G Fat Fat content per 100g of food (also doubles as a percentage)
H Fiber Fiber content per 100g of food (also doubles as a percentage)
I Grams Fiber/100kcal This is the fiber bang for your caloric buck information. Especially good for calorie restricted diets
J Protein Quality This info is taken from the nutritiondata.self.com site. More info here: http://nutritiondata.self.com/help/analysis-help#protein-quality
K Nutrient Completeness info
This info is taken from the nutritiondata.self.com site. More info here: http://nutritiondata.self.com/help/analysis-help#nutrient-balance-indicator
L P%Cal Percentage of how many calories of protein as compared to the total calories of the food. In essence this is the reason this spreadsheet exists.
M-U Hidden columns. They contain all the ranking of columns B-K above and are used to calculate the overall ranking of the foodlist.
V Rank of Rankings Takes all the rankings above (M-U) and averages the rankings. Highest average ranking (lowest number) is the top food based on the above criteria (Seafood, tuna) and bottom has the lowest (Food, Chocolate Dark 45-59% cacao). It doesn't mean that the bottom ranked food is "bad", it just means that it's not best bank for the buck in regards to the above criteria.
There you have it.
Have fun browsing the list.

Some of us have suggested it for "sticky" status, so it would be more available. You might want to suggest likewise in the correct forum topic, given your enthusiasm (which I share, even as a non-keto vegetarian).2 -

Oh, yay: I'm so glad to hear it, @diannethegeek - I should've checked before I posted the above, but it seemed like it had been in the queue a really, really long time. Thanks.0 -

No worries! I only noticed because I'd been using the recommendations thread as my own personal treasure trove of links to check in with. I noticed they'd wiped the thread clean (which they do when they update the stickies) and went looking to see what had been added3 -
This is awesome!
And I had to laugh at cuttlefish every time I hear it I think of Age of Ultron.0 -
Hello Thank you for stickying my thread. I hope it's of use to many and many thanks to my friend Ann for her support. All data is as accurate as I could find, but, if you find any corrections, please let me know so I can verify the error and make the necessary changes. Thanks.6

Anyone knows how can I create a filter that would show me highest fats, lowest carbs ?
Whenever I change one the other flips. When I apply my learnings from YouTube on to this excel it goes blank on me during advance filter creation.
I clicked on fliter in fats tab and sorted it largest to smallest -then carbs moved along then tried smallest to highest in carbs section fats moved .
I mean I can unlink them but then I won't be able to see the corresponding food items with them.0 -
You can add a column and simply calculate ( fat% - [carb-fiber]%). Those are columns G - N. You'll get your answer that way. If you're doing ketosis, you'll need to lower protein intake too (max 15% is recommended)0

Just giving this a bump.4
