I'm sorry but kale "chips" are disgusting.43

"Dark" chocolate.
Despite it being the go to answer for every single ill in the known universe I find it repulsive.39 -
Not sure what qualifies as "trendy."
I'll buy/make anything that I want to eat, as long as I consider the price reasonable and the preparation simple.17 -
Quinoa.37

Coconut oil.32

Chia seeds. Tried it once and it grossed me out29

I buy food I like. I don't buy food I don't like. If a food is 'trendy' and I like it, I buy it. If I don't like it, I don't.
Having said that, it irks me that coconut oil became trendy because it used to be dead cheap to buy for treating my psoriasis, and now the trendies have made it expensive. It's nice that I can find it at the supermarket though.22 -
Powdered peanut butter28

I'll try new foods and drinks that are trendy or not, but I won't rebuy it or try it if it doesn't look appealing to me or I don't like the taste. The one thing I won't buy is those rainbow bagels. They look like play-doh and don't look good to me at all. A bagel does not need to be colorful to taste good, but everyone was lining up for one and going crazy about it. I saw so many posts about it and videos on it, but it just didn't look good to me.5

Actually, I will refuse to buy something that is labelled "Gluten Free" when the particular product it is doesn't have gluten in it anyway. I saw a bag of carrots labelled "Gluten Free" FFS. It wasn't even the brand being ironic.60
