Love this thread! I'm 5'7 and in the middle of my weight loss. I'm 24 years old. Started at 180, currently 165.
I don't know my goal weight. I've been saying 150 because it seems realistic, but I'm not sure if I'd look much different. On the other hand I'm afraid that if I aimed for 140 or 130 I wouldn't be able to maintain that for very long. I don't want to set myself up to fail. But man, to be 140 again sounds pretty great. That's what my 5'7 boyfriend weighs, so... Yeah. I gotta think.
You ladies all look awesome, by the way!
I'm 5'7, 24, and starting weight 180 too...kind of. Wedding weight: 145 after first baby:195 second: 186 but time to get it off in earnest now, been carrying it too long!
I'd like to shoot for 140-5 but like you I don't know if I could maintain that. Plus muscle weighs more than fat, and I want to build muscle too. We'll see what happens! Good luck!
Good luck to you too!1 -
This is amazing- 1, I can't wait to post my own pics here but also 2, I can't believe have different everyone's results are! It's amazing how different all of our bodies are even if we are the same height!5

Hi! I'm 5'6". The first pic was two years ago at 145 lbs and the second was taken a few weeks ago and I'm at 122 (a little under goal weight, but I'm looking to bulk in the fall)
I LOVE your arms what a beautiful shape! hoping I can manage something as stunning eventually.
Also, I can't believe I've never seen this thread..in almost 5 years here rofl!
I don't have any pictures of me at my highest weight which was around 248 back in 2004. By the time I found MFP in 2011 I had managed to get down to 228 but couldn't seem to get any further. I'm also 5'6"
By 2014 I was down to 140 but unfortunately due to an accident and other life situations I have gained back about 25 of those and am now hovering around 163. I've been trying to refocus and get over some issues. This thread has helped me a lot.
Here's before
And very roughly what I look like now - I'll try to get a current shot soon:

Then now at 153 in two most current
Still about 13 lbs to go
I'm 5'6"
Kudos on the spectacular weight loss! I love your tattoos!!!7 -
I've lost the weight before and am back to lose what I've gained over the winter, so these pictures are a bit dated. Still, my height hasn't changed. I'm 5'6, in the first picture I was hovering around 180 (and that was before my two kids!). Second picture is after both of my kids, around 145 - I'm in the blue. Good luck to you!

Wow! Amazing!

I'm 5' 6" and I've lost 12 recorded pounds since the beginning of march. I didn't have a scale the first week so it might be a little more. From 180+ to 168 and my goal is 135. I have a way to go, but I'm feeling successful so far.26 -
