I'm 27 and haven't run (not even for 20 feet) for 9 years, since before I was a 3 pack a day smoker. Quit smoking last October and am preparing for my first treadmill run. I still have this nagging fear that I'll gasp and wheeze like a crazy lady but am slowly upping my speed.15

For reference: F/38/159cm (5'3"-ish). HW: 84kg (2005), SW: 70.2kg (this time... 1 July) , CW: 63.9kg, GW1: 63kg (healthy BMI)
1. 68kg - traditionally a 'barrier' weight for me - get a pedicure - Done
2. Run Melbourne 10Km in an hour or less - no special treat - Done! Completed in 59.07!
3. 66kg - no particular reason - get a Google Home - Done
4. 65.3kg - lowest recorded weight of 2016 - no special treat - Done
5. 63.9kg - lowest recorded weight ever (2014) - get a pedicure - Done as of this morning!
6. 63kg - Healthy BMI, have never been here in my adult life! - Super pretty running/multi-sport/smart watch - 0.9kg to go!
7. Melbourne half marathon in ideally 2hrs or less, will decide a bit further into training - 15th October.
Updated! Ticked off #5 this morning, after a week of plateau! Next goal is not a mini goal, but a MAJOR one, healthy BMI, 0.9kg to go!
I also had 2 people at running last night comment on my weight loss, and mid-speed training session the coach said to me that my 'fitness has improved out of sight!'. (It was pretty bad before, but I'll still take it as a win!)

I love this thread! So motivating. I'm 5'6". SW of 202 pounds, CW of 160 pounds.
Goals
1. Oct 1, 2017: Finally reach a healthy BMI for my height (154).
2. Nov 13, 2017: Get below 150 (exactly one year from when I started losing weight).
3. Dec 20, 2017: Reach 142 before I go home for Christmas (This would by 60 lost).9 -
Lose 5 or 6 pounds from by current weight by Oct. 1, or early October, or whenever my body sheds it, while continuing healthy eating. And lose a few more pounds in the weeks after that. Keep exercising at least 30 minutes a day.6
-
Not gain anything this week. It's my birthday so cake and food will be a thing but hoping to get right back on track after.6
-
only 1 pound left to hit my big, seemingly impossible goal of 220
only 1.6 pounds to go until I hit 100 pounds lost (why couldn't i have started MFP with a nice round number? lol)
AND THEN... new goals? I have some ideas but I'll post them here once I get there.11 -
I'm getting married in November, so looking good in that dress is everything!14

My current mini goal is reaching < 60Kg, which is roughly 2Kg from now. This is my magic border between overweight and normal BMI and a weight I haven't seen since I was probably 13 years old. (I'm 37 now)
Ideally, this is going to happen end of September *crosses her fingers*
Edit: my second goal is to finish the 30 Days of SHRED. I'm currently at day 9 and hate it passionately, but I'll certainly try to continue the program.6 -
The ability to say, '3 stone' in response to 'how much have you lost?'
I have progressed from saying 2 and a half stone, to nearly 3 stone - am 2lbs off!!13 -
I've got three right now: I'm about 10lb from my ultimate goal weight, 4lb from my birthday (6 weeks away) goal weight, and I can almost wear my smallest jeans again (they button and zip, but are a little too tight for comfort still).12

Going on a mini holiday in October to Tenerife so wanting to tone up and lose a few inches! Beach body ready! Woo7

I guess I mentioned the tri relay. Still the overriding mini goal. I'm terrified so getting at least 3 1-hour/ 1 mile + swims in the next 2 weeks are the mini goal.5
-
Fitting into my size 10 work pants. Jumped up to a 12 recently and can't find a pair that fits right. Once I see what weight makes me a size 10 I'll make a new goal

2) Graduation photos I can be proud of
3) Dress up birthday party!9 -
I've promised to treat myself for every 10lb I lose. For my first 10lb I bought myself a fitness tracker which I LOVE!
I've 4lb left to lose to get to my next 10 & have decided to buy myself a bonafide full workout outfit as I'm currently bopping about in leggings & a sports crop. My leggings are all too big (even my new smaller ones) & my feet feel like they're "sloshing" around in my trainers... I can't pull the laces any tighter!
So looking forward to picking it all out!12 -
Dropped a bit over 37 lbs....wanting to get to 40! and then under 200 (204 and change right now)8
