I have 2 thanksgiving meals to go to this round and my cousin's wedding, so my goal is to maintain the same average weight this round as last round.
11/19: 119.8- This is a jump up of a lb from yesterday, but I'm really feeling my strength workout from yesterday so I think that is contributing a bit to the increase.
11/20: 120.4- Eating wasn't great yesterday as I bought my nemesis, tortilla chips, at the store.1 -

11/20: 215.8lbs - Woo! That's good to see. I ate way more cheez-its today than I should have... So I'm not sure I'll see much progress tomorrow. But I was fairly active, and I cooked a healthy dinner that will have left overs, so I'm hoping that'll help.

11/19 I overdid it yesterday and the expected hobbling pain came and I still hustled around moving boxes and furniture. I bought a candy apple based on the memory of enjoying them, but honestly, I only really enjoyed the green apple part. So I have added a new goal to this round: honour my authentic self. I am the girl who likes the green apple & I don’t need to eat/do/act in ways that do not align with who I am.

I HAVE the power and determination to do this.
Change in focus. In the normal range for my age height and build, on maintenance.
New Primary Goal - 160lbs +/- 2lbs.
I was ill most of Round 22, but achieved my goal.
Of course, losing a pound a Round would be ace, as I would like a cushion for celebrations.
to all the Newbies, and Hi to those returning for another Round. This has given me an element of daily accountability which is motivational.
Observations, and Previous RoundsMany events along the way will scupper our best intentions, but they merely delay the achievement of our goals. Life is for living, and one must learn patience. It takes many years to put on excess weight, so It follows that it takes much time to remove, but it does come off, bit by stubborn bit! If you stick with it! The game continues!
A lot of people get upset by apparent weight gain when they have been working their butts off. Body weight fluctuates, both up, and down, from one day to the next depending on so many factors. From my experience:- Changes often take several days to show on the scale.
- A drop is often followed by a bounce up before it settles back down. A general downward trend is the aim.
- A high sodium day usually results in a gain due to water retention, unless you drink extra fluids to flush it out.
If you are making positive lifestyle changes it will lead to increased health and fitness.
Slow and steady leads to sustainable weight loss.
But remember to live a little along the way!

Terri, They are my stepdaughters favourite and were on sale!... so after simmering them until they were tender I slow baked them brushing with homemade rib sauce every time they dried enough to get sticky. In the end they were finger licking fall off the bone delicious and I had two pretty big ones. After all day smelling them cooking they were glorious. I would have had more in a previous life, this was definitely a win. It's not about eliminating foods you love from your meal plan, it's about portion control. NSV for me.
I don't simmer them, but also have a homemade sauce for slow roasting which makes the meat drop of the bones. A definite treat for high days and holidays. I serve with garlic bread and roast veg. Portion control is the key these days.5 -

11/19 145.70 - only 0.1lb down but happy as its the weekend
11/20 145.80 - that 0.1lb has gone back on again but really happy as it means that I have effectively maintained over the weekend which is always a big thing! I know its wasn't fat gain but often used to "gain" 2-3 lb over a weekend so a good start for me for R23
11/21 146.00 minimal 0.2 lb on - don't know why as drank usual amount of water, did my 12 mile cycle ride, ate within my calories. But I am effectively maintaining which after my losses in the last round which were so much more than I thought, I am happy with. I am still 5.4 lbs down from where I was two weeks ago - yay!!! Non scale victory today though - put on a pair of trousers for work I haven't worn for a few weeks and they were so much looser so whatever the scale says today I have definitely lost inches so all good!!! Good food day planned and 1hr PT session tonight

Hi all - I haven’t been weighing in as it’s TOM and I’ve learned I always gain about 4lbs. 11/19 251.8 -- One pound less than yesterday. Rather than save calories for evening snacks, I made sure to eat all my calories during the day and finished with supper. I didn’t stay up until the wee hours and I didn’t do any late night post-diary snacking!
11/20 250.2 -- Lowest yet. I will continue getting all calories eaten by the end of supper. If I don’t start to eat after supper I don’t need to figure out how to stop at a time of day (late evening) when I’m least in control of my eating.

The holidays are a concern because I typically put on about 10 from Thanksgiving to New years and I can't afford to do that anymore. 11/20: 158.0 Yikes. I almost decided to not join this round since my rocky start but all the more reason too right?! Coming off from my son's birthday weekend. Cake, pizza, and drinks with family visiting. It was great but now for some serious water retention to get rid of!

Feeling confident I will run the entire thing which is the only goal I have, oh and to have fun! Heading to my sister's tomorrow which will be difficult.
