    Checking in from Thursday:
    1. Prelog ✔ and eat only what’s been prelogged. ❌
    2. Plan dinner before leaving for school: Soup Plus ✔
    3. Daily practice: Duolingo ✔, audition monologues ❌
    4. 10k steps, 2x8 floor push-ups, 2x30 sec wall sit, 2x60 sec plank, 2x20 sec lunges per leg; 2x20 sec tree pose per leg, 2x15 side kicks, 2x30 sec frog pose - I'm actually going to adjust this to doing 10k steps, 2x8 push-ups, and some stretches. I am REALLY tight and a little sore today. ✔
    5. Prep breakfast and lunches QUICKLY upon return from school. ✔
    6. Head to the garden - BUNDLE UP! It's gonna be cold tonight. ✔
    7. Daily writing: 30 minutes - blog ❌
    8. Check in at some point; meds; teeth flossed/rinsed/brushed; in bed by 11:00 ❌ hahaha, I was lucky to make it before 12.

    JFT Friday:
    1. Prelog ❌ and eat only what’s been prelogged. ❌ Aaand I'm off to a great start :P
    2. Plan dinner before leaving for school: Lentil Quinoa Stew ✔
    3. Daily practice: Duolingo ✔, audition monologues
    4. 10k steps, 2x8 floor push-ups, 2x30 sec wall sit, 2x60 sec plank, 2x20 sec lunges per leg; 2x20 sec tree pose per leg, 2x15 side kicks, 2x30 sec frog pose with some flexibility. Still a little sore.
    5. Daily writing: 30 minutes - blog
    6. Dance event in town tonight!
    7. Prep materials for busy day tomorrow
    8. Check in after school; meds; teeth flossed/rinsed/brushed; in bed by 11:00

So last night at the garden was COLD but I had a good time telling Christmas stories as Mrs. Claus. Sadly, I am up almost three pounds on the scale this morning and not sure why. Not looking like my Sunday goal is going to happen - no idea if I'm going to show a loss AT ALL this week. Very disheartening. Oh well. Two more days to go. We'll see what happens...

    JFT:
    - Track everything
    - Lots of water
    - Fewer than 1200 calories
    - 60+ minutes walk
    - 30+ minutes low impact aerobics
    - Put up Christmas lights!

I did pretty well yesterday! My net calories were super low -- total calories right around goal: 1440 or so -- so not bad. 1200 is great, but I think I'm setting myself up for failure aiming that low. Didn't put up lights but wrote, addressed, stamped, and decorated Christmas cards, which is major! Met all my other goals.

Great work, everyone! Have a fabulous weekend!

Aw honey. How horrible it must be! You can't help it if you have to cough, so it isn't really even something you can control! Do you have a heating pad or hot water bottle you can place on your ribs? Can your other half take over and let you rest a bit? Does it help perhaps to try to gently stretch in case it is a tight muscle? I'm not much help, I know, but I'm sending you big hugs! xoxox

Getting Christmas Cards addressed, stamped and ready to go IS a major deal! Good for you! Every night this week I have tried to get myself to at least start on them but have procrastinated horribly. I think for me this is one of the most dreaded Christmas things to do...I like to send them and love to get them, but the actual task of DOING it is a huge ordeal! Good for you!

We are going to pick out and bring home our Christmas tree this morning and I need to get some baking done too. I'm not sure why Christmas is my favorite holiday because it really is a lot of work, isn't it? LOL! I think I will put off working on Christmas cards until tomorrow...during the Packer game. At least then I will be sitting still. :)

I hope you have a GREAT weekend too!

I must not have gotten on here yesterday. So I guess I don't have to admit how bad I was last night when I went back for seconds on the ice cream before bed. :(

We are going to get our tree this morning...it's colder than heck out there today, although the snow looks pretty when you're looking at it from inside the house! I tried to get husband to go get our tree last weekend when it was almost 60 degrees, but what do I know, right? LOL

    JFT:
    1. Stay in the green
    2. Added sugar <29 g
    3. Carbs <75 g
    4. Ten 8oz glasses of water
    5. 30 minutes of cardio activity
    6. Go get a Christmas tree
    7. Bake banana bread, lemon bread and Peanut Butter toffee bit cookies
    8. Sew on quilt
    9. Meditate for 15 minutes on how blessed I am, and think of all the things I have to be grateful for
    10. Be in the present moment and enjoy every minute of today
    11. Bed early so I can get up and go to early church service tomorrow.

P.S. I really need to get 'er into gear. I need to really get serious. I am not fitting into some of my clothes because of the stomach bloating. I know some of it is medications I'm on, because of hormonal issues, and a lot of it is the amount of sugar and carbs. I REFUSE to buy larger clothing for the winter. So....this is me publicly announcing that I AM GOING TO START KICKING SOME *kitten*. I'm done with my excuses. This is now getting real.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND MY FRIENDS! Hugs to all!

My partner and I argued today, so his disorder and my hormones are at loggerheads and we aren’t talking. And id need his help to get the hot water bottle out. I’ve not even told him I’ve done it again because he’ll only moan and I just can’t be bothered listening to it tbh!

He said he feels like *kitten* and so do I so I’m just leaving him to it. Just one of them days. Give eachother some space.

My eldest is kind of helping me out by tidying and keeping youngest entertained so once they’ve had tea I’ll get them in bed.
The tidying can wait til tomorrow and I can put the washing in the dryer and leave the rest of the washing til tomorrow.

I was so angry before I went on a cleaning rampage. And now everything’s a mess again because I can’t tidy lol.

Luckily my cough isn’t as bad so maybe run a bath later and see how I go!

    12/9 Saturday JFT:

    ✔Breakfast w/ family
✔Sibling Class (for kids to learn about the baby)
    ✔Lunch ➡️ ate out
    ❌Elliptical
R/S to Sunday ➡️Put up Christmas Tree and Decorations
    ✔Family Time
    ✔Dinner by 7 pm
    ❌Bedtime by 10 pm

Well, plans were all over the place today. After the Sibling Class at the hospital, we all went out and had some BBQ. Then we came home and did Saturday chores (weekly house cleaning). Afterwards, we decided to head over to enjoy the National Heritage Museum's Candelight Christmas!! That was amazing, they reenact the old western Christmas themes throughout their entire outside museum of old western houses, trains, depots, cowboy camps w/ horses, etc. We all enjoyed some western music played on guitars, banjos, violins, basses, etc. We were served hot chocolate, cookies and homemade kettle popcorn. After walking around the ranch for 3 hours, we finally stopped and visited Cowboy Santa for pictures and candy canes then headed home. Needless to say, I got my exercise at the ranch today  I'm exhausted and looking forward to decorating for Christmas tomorrow.

    Be blessed everyone

@beagletracks Several years ago I went into hospital from Dec 10 to 5pm Dec 25 then back in after Christmas, surgery Jan 29 and finally home Feb 6. While I was in there I did University work and Christmas prep including cards. That was the last year I did cards. I decided if it was up to me I didn't need to let it stress me.

@Bex953172 Have you tried holding a pillow on your tummy/ribs when you cough?

@OConnell5483 I've found that if I indulge in dairy I get bloaty. Sometimes it's just worth it though. :p

    Ribs a bit better today!
The house was a tip and this morning I just blitzed the house before it got too sore.
Hurt for a bit after but I think keeping it moving has helped.

Getting some leg exercises in... by my 1yo coming to sit in my foot for “pony rides”
Bit different when my older one tries, there’s no lifting her haha

Regular morning routine for kids with the exception of the teenage drama :flushed:
    Breakfast w/ hubby
    Household manager list
    Sm. Grocery Trip
Run and get a haircut (I need a trim  )
    Laundry
    Elliptical
    Regular afternoon routine for kids

Well, we had a busy weekend leading into a busy week, hahaha  It is nice to have our Christmas tree up and our decorations set up. Now I need to get all my mailing items together and out this week so they make it by Christmas! Plus........I have my baby anatomy scan this Thursday and we are praying the little one cooperates so we can determine the gender :joy:
Other than that, I have one little negative event looming on Friday and I'm going to do my best to NOT get depressed about: My pap came back irregular and I have a suspicious lesion on my cervix so they are biopsying it Friday to determine if it is worth worrying over (If ya get my meaning; I refuse to insert the word we are all thinking, I just want positive thinking  ) So those of you whom pray, I'd love to be on the list of prayer sometime this week, I would greatly appreciate the positive "vibes."

I sure hope everyone has a good start to their week today! :sunglasses:
