You look amazing and you just confirmed my goal weight!9 -
I am 5’7 1/2” exactly, 34 yrs old and had my third baby almost 8 months ago. Unfortunately all three kiddos were born via emergency c-section. This last pregnancy was hard and I quit looking at the scale midway through. I was in the 190’s a few weeks after delivery so I estimate I gained around 50-60lbs.
I was able to get into decent shape the summer before the pregnancy and was doing cardio and weights and eating well. I am now back down to the low 150’s and aiming for 145 and toning up with weights.

I do a lot of walking and try to keep my calories around 1200/day. I also drink a ton of water.
Congrats on your weight loss!! You look great! Did you lose 10 pounds a month? I'm just curious because I have been doing everything as you did drinking ton of water, walking for excercise, and watching portions.
Thanks so much, @sabkhan32!
The first few months I lost quite a bit. When you dramatically change your habits, the weight comes off easier. After the holidays I struggled a lot and thought I plateaued. Looking back, I'm still losing, just not as rapidly as before. I weight myself daily, so I have a record of every month and my progress. lol There was a LOT of fluctuation in Jan/Feb.

Changing how you look at food helps tremendously. My two-question approach has saved my butt a lot during some difficult times:
Before you indulge in something that's not the healthiest ask yourself these two things:
1. Have I had it before? (If yes, I don't need it right now. If no, go to question 2.)
2. Can I get it again? (If yes, I don't need it right now while I'm reaching my goal - I'll get it again another time. If no, have it in moderation. If it's super special like an Iron Chef prepared 10-course meal, eat it all! lol)
I really like this. I have up chocolate, sugar and sweets 1.5 years ago. I still miss it. And sometimes I think I can fit it in my calories. But I know it's a trigger. It's easier to abstain than moderate. I figure it will be there when I lose 40 more lbs of I want it then. Same with a few other food favorites. When I identify a trigger food it's gotta go for a while.
I’m the same way with chocolate, sugar and sweets! I gave them up about 1.5 years ago as well.3 -

Here's a face one. The right photo was St. Patty's in 2017 at probably 210lbs although I started at 220lbs. Left photo is St. Patty's 2018 at 161lbs. Still losing albeit much slower.

I started off at 150ish pounds in 2013 and slowly dropped down to 125 which I've been maintaing (within 5 lbs each direction) since early 2014. I am working towards a very slow bulk currently as I run less and lift heavier.
