Total loss for April : 21.6 lbs
April has been quite a ride. My goal was to lose ten pounds and I definitely lost more than that. I had surgery during the second week of April and was placed on a full liquid diet for four weeks by my doctor. With that I lost ~16 lbs. I don’t plan on keeping it all off but it has changed my body a lot and allowed me to realize that i don’t necessarily have a “food/carb addiction” like I previous thought, just poor willpower. During these past three weeks i haven’t had any true cravings for food. There were a couple of times where I wanted to eat certain foods but i didn’t lose my mind like I normally would have, had I not been on this diet. Anyhow, it was a great month overall. Hopefully I can keep most of the weight off when i go back to solid foods next week and continue making progress towards my ultimate goal.
Great job everyone! We made it through another month.

Apr 10: 127.2 - Today I gave myself the slap in the face that I needed to wake up - I've been lying to myself about my food intake and exercise calories burned and hoping that the scale will just magically go lower instead of higher. It's time for me to let go of the excuses I've been making and finally get to my goal weight. I WILL do this!

Apr 30: 127.4 - Looking at my body and not focusing on the scale as much and I've been adding more strength training into my workouts lately. Would I like the number to be smaller on the scale? Well sure, but I'm actually kind of happy with the way by body is starting to look right now.
