Yesterday eating wise was pretty good but lack of sleep made for a long day. I re found my love for butternut squash tho. Whipped it up and served with grilled chicken and green beans. There just like mashed potatoes. Yummy!
The weekend is here tho and from past experiences is the hardest. Not being at work half the day makes for bad things to happen. Since I'm not such an *kitten* about my diet now and actually eating, it shouldn't be so bad. What? Half starving yourself for a quick fix doesn't work long term? Ask me how I know
I should add that I walked 3 miles yesterday and then did some work on a new retaining wall next to my driveway so I got plenty of exercise.

Gained so much weight, I'm upset but still motivated. I woke up early (6.00 am) and walked 3.1 km (4300 steps). The breakfast was good I hope the rest of the day will be good too. Cannot wait to see lower weights...

I feel really motivated and strong. I bought a smoothie blender. I'll make healthy and nutritious smoothies rather than junk food anymore. And also yesterday I didn't drink alcohol even I went to a bar. Moreover, I walked 10.2 km

This round I am not particularly aiming to lose, although losing would be fine. I'm aiming for good food, good exercise, and healing of my back and neck issues. Everything else is bonus!

Hubby's bd yesterday, but I ate a lovely, healthy lunch out - grilled shrimp, salad, broccoli, one spoonful of his dessert. Yesterday evening I went for a 4-mile walk along the Maumee River on the beautiful Rivergreenway.

7/27 - 221.2 - Went out with an old friend and only had one beer. Passed on the charcuterie plate that I wanted bad, but those are the make or break moments.
7/28- 220.2 - Had 600 calories of pizza last night with 2 glasses of red wine, just ate lightly rest of the day and stayed within 1550 calories. Some foods are out of the question though since the calorie/enjoyment trade off is low. See ya' soda and muffins.

7/28 184.4 ok I understand, I ate bad but I worked out another round of 30 day shred level 2. I cannot be stuck at 184,183 for another round, I dont know what I need to do, all I'll know is I need to change something. Well I go out of town today and return Sunday night it's going to be allot of junk food on the road 😖. My goal for this trip is to not go above 184, and I do some sort of exercise.

7/28 266.8 My goal this round is -3 lbs. I have been gaining and losing the same 5 lbs for seriously like 3months, it is so frustrating. Especially when I am actually trying. Its like I gain wt if I just look at food, drives me nuts. But, I'm not throwing in the towel, my LDL chol is 120 and I will get it down to the 80's by my next labs Oct 11. Thats my motivator plus I know losing 50-60 lbs would change the whole dynamic of my health moving forward.

@jerier I am/was that person for at least one friend. For over a decade while her son was in prison and living on the streets she called at least once or twice a week crying. I was always there to listen. I used to get together with a small group of ladies and every time I tried to enter the conversation someone spoke over me. It is frustrating for sure. I, too, am at that point. I am much happier keeping to myself and ignoring everything else.
