8/17 149.5 Yippie skippy, my migraine is gone, finally. The smoke from the fires in BC is going away from the coast and they took my headache with them. I can’t imagine how horrible it is for all the folks living in smoke for weeks. 3 days just about did me in.

@tiabirdie56 and @SheilaBoneham It took me 18 months to lose 58 pounds 10 years ago (age 58-59.5) and I was working out 3x/wk the last 12 months. Unlike cheese and wine, it doesn’t get better with age! And Sheila, I need a cat mystery! cruising from Long Beach to Alaska and back to LB. 2 weeks! I want to live on a cruise ship!

8/16 133.5 Soooo, the cat woke me at 4AM because he thought that was a good time for breakfast. I didn’t so was going to put him in his carrier. When I pivoted, the toe of my shoe caught in the grout line and we went down. I hit my ribs on the refrigerator and skinned one knee. Pretty sure I’m going to have a bruise but currently sitting with a well wrapped ice pack on my side. I don’t think anything is broken. I think Oskar is going to be restricted at night to the sewing room and bathroom in the future. (Master suite)
8/17 133.5 I slept in the recliner last night and got over 8 hours in spite of my sore ribs and ice pack. At lunch I ate French fries. They were perfectly cooked - crispy! I ate about 1/3 and gave the rest to Carl. I’m still in nutritional ketosis this morning so that’s good. We’ll see what the scale thinks tomorrow or Sunday!8 -
For all interested in the parsley tea: up to 3 times a day, before meals (so, on an empty stomach), use 3 to 5 days then take a break. I usually only need to use parsley short term. I'm always finding new information (to me) about parsley tea benefits. Maybe this would be useful to you also :

OSW: 266 lbs.
CSW: 259 lbs.
RSW: 254.4, 253.6 lbs. for now
CGW: under 250 lbs. same as last round
IGW: 200 lbs
UGW: 150 lbs.
Round 48: Loss: 259-255.6 = -3.4 llbs
Round 49: Loss: 258.4 (starting weight) -253.6 = 4.8 lbs,, 255.6 (ending weight from Round 48) - 253.6 = 2 lbs
Total Loss so far: 5.5 lbs for all Rounds

Round 49 had unexpected drops & cooler weather...my guess things will bounce up again, especially if it gets hot again.
Happy to maintain as my body adjusts & I build more muscle

I typically don't set goals because I find myself sabotaging them. Stupid, I know, but it's true. This round I've decided to set one goal:Stop binge eating my trigger foods which are too numerous to list.#37: 142.6 - 137.4 = -5.2

#40: 136.2 - 135.0 = -1.2

8/17 - 177.6 (-.6 total so far). I certainly dodged a bullet on that weigh in. Had to go to Walmart after work and was soooo hungry...bought and ATE a whole bag of Brachs Bridge Mix. Sooo sooo good! I just have no self control sometimes! Note to self. STAY OUTTA THE STORES!!!

This round I’m just back from a trip. So happy that I did not gain. The credit for that is mostly due to family that I was visiting who all eat a lot of fresh vegetables. I tried to make good choices on my days where I was driving but that was so-so.
9th Round for me: Female 65, height – 5’
Round 39 (1st for me) – SW 163, loss -.2
Round 40 – on holidays, gain +1.6

Round 42 - SW: 162.6, loss -.6
Round 43 – SW 162, loss -.4

8/16, Wednesday – Last leg of my trip home, long smoky drive from mid Alberta to Kootenays in BC. At one point had one-lane traffic because of fire near the road but overall just hot with smoky haze.
8/17, Thursday – 160.2 Did not gain in my couple of weeks away!! Headache and dead tired from all the driving so will take it easy for a couple of days but stay mindful on the eating.

8/16 - 147. Post and run today, but I'll be back later tonight to read all of the posts ahead of mine. I started SL 5x5 this week with the tiniest amount of weight on my barbell and did my second session last night. Looking forward to getting stronger and adding more weight to my lifts.
8/17 - 146. Happy to see the lower number, I can get back into most of my big clothes now and am wearing a pair of jeans today that I haven't worn in a year. Oops, I'd even outgrown my larger sizes there for a bit! The clothes that currently fit me are the hardest worn, it's the size that I never want to shop. I bought 5 pairs of even larger pants near the beginning of round 47 (round 1 for me) and now they are all loose.
