No more upwards fluctuations due to bad eating. I want a steady decline this time. I can't just dance around this number. I did that ten pounds ago and I hated it.

10/25- 184.7- Glad it didn't go up honestly. I did maintenance calories yesterday.
10/26-184.8- Last exam today. Going to be able to focus on weight-loss better these next two weeks. Kinda excited.

Other goals: 10,000 steps at least 4 days a week. Strength training 2 times a week. Run 3 times a week. Continue Yoga with Adriene's 30 days of yoga challenge. Eat at a deficit.
Day/Weight/Comment
10/25: 195.7 (17,646 steps). Almost 13k steps at the time of writing this. Will go on a run after dinner. Did an amazing upper body workout. Day 5 of 30 days of yoga. Food isn’t so great today, though i will be under if I count my exercise calories.
10/26: 194.7! Feels nice, aside from my right pec and glute being sore. Will have to take an epsom salt bath sometime today. I also had a hell of a time falling asleep. My upper spine really hurt. Hoping to make better food choices today and continue to see a downward trend. I will add steps the next day.

10/25 147.0 ??? Today is a long day with after school workshops for the parents. We'll be ordering dinner. Persian food is one of my favorites. 12 hour work day - 11k steps
10/26 150 Hmmm. I expected to be a little higher than yesterday but not this much. I'll drink lots of water and see where this goes tomorrow. I won't let this bump lead me into a downward spiral like it did last round. I actually ended the last round not far from where I started, so I could have lost weight by sticking it out.

10/25 165.6 Back for a new round! Hoorah! My weight is a little up, but I did what I needed to do, so it’ll come down soon. Yesterday was raining, so Thor and I didn’t get in a walk, but I did a Chalean Extreme workout. I must have done it correctly, because it was hard, as Chalean says it should be. Today, I’ll spend most of the day playing cards with friends (and watching calories).
10/26 165.0 Thor and I got in our 4 mile walk this morning. I’m surprised at how much his fitness is improving. We have a one acre yard, but he spends a lot of time in the house and only runs when cows, donkeys, or strangers are at the fence or an unwelcome small animal is in his yard. This walk is good for both of us! I have concerts with my gospel group this weekend, one this evening, two tomorrow, and two Sunday. All our songs are choreographed, so we get a little exercise. We carry our own equipment and set up our sound, too. No hikes with Thor this weekend, but four of us in the group are watching what we eat. We will hold each other accountable. I made a big egg & veggie scramble for brunch. Hopefully, it's settled enough so I can do a strengthening session before I get ready to leave for the evening.

@quiltingjane Thanks for all your well wishes & congrats regarding my dr. appointments. It really means a lot. Thanks also for the peanut butter recipe with the cocoa & stevia. What a nice way to get a bit of dessert while adding some protein to my diet! I love it!
@kmfeig87 Wow! you have landed solidly in the 160's. Congratulations and enjoy how great that feels! Healthy is wonderful!
@tiabirdie56 Thanks for your nice comments to me about my mammogram & appointments. Also for your opinion on the best drink. I made the pitcher this morning. This called for pulling out all the best ingredients. I could tell by the bloat (I hadn't seen it this bad in a long long time) that I was in trouble. I know this will really help. I don't have fresh parsley available in our only grocery store in my town, but I picked some up on the way home from the University Hospital, so I'm good to go. I also go to Walmart about twice per month (about an hour away) so I will make sure I grab some every time! Thanks again.
@abowersgirl Thanks to you also for all your well wishes. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy the life you work so hard to keep healthy. Enjoy your travels and plans!
@denswrex Thank you for your nice comments regarding my cancer appointments. It is so nice to be supported, especially since my husband is no longer here with me. I also wanted you to know that I loved your comments to @bisonpitcher. To think that the last pounds are not the hardest but, instead, are the most rewarding is such a great outlook. As I get closer to my own goals, I will keep that near & dear to my heart.
@jaccimc63 Thanks for your comments on my great cancer center news. It means a lot that others have been thinking of me and sharing my relief. I also want to congratulate you on the spectacular 140's that you are slaughtering! You are an inspiration and I can't wait to get there!
@heymossy So nice to see you back. I always appreciate your inputs and your outlook on our journeys. And that dog.....well, do they get any cuter? Please share: boy or girl, what is known breed and what is their name? I've fallen in love. I miss my Maggie (cocker spaniel) that I lost in February. I also lost my cat Milo this year after 19 1/2 years. I have my 18 1/2 yr old cat named Reeces left and she is showing all the signs of aging. I am considering another dog. I miss that companionship. Yours seemed to have posed for you. Too cute......5 -
Back for Round 57 (my 2nd round). Thanks again @Grandmajackie! I owe my -4 lbs to you!!
Keeping the same "Rules" of my game plan...log EVERYTHING!, no eating 7p-7a, no eating while packing lunches...exercise everyday (no matter what!) and try to breathe!

Day/Weight/Comment
10/25 - Day 1 - 147.2 (corrected from 148 got on the scale at noon after gym!) - And we're off! Good luck everyone. You can do it!
10/26 - Day 2 - 146.6 Having 2 girlfriends over after work. A little scared but have promised myself to stick to the "Rules" and only 1 glass (4oz) of wine OR NONE (not likely). We are ordering sushi for dinner so should be fine from the food aspect. Just that darn wine and hot tub. Wish me luck! Maybe they'll cancel on me! haha, no no. Sat/Sun plan --- I'm going to hit the gym both Sat and Sun (I usually just walk the dog/chase the 'littles' around)! Everyone stay strong this weekend and enjoy your adventures ahead...remember...you got this, eyes on the prize!!

Day/Weight/Comment:
10/25 - 179.2 ..... I will have to make my starting weight my last weigh-in though I'm sure it is up from the travel. I can feel the horrible bloat and the sickness in my stomach. Too many carbs. So, I am home from the University Cancer Center and everything appears to be good! Yay. Good luck everyone on this round! And thanks to EVERYONE for all the well wishes. I took them all with me for good luck and as blessings!
10/26 – 181.2….. Well. There it is. Yikes!!!! Glad to be home and back to routine. I have my work cut out for me, but I got this. If I can continue to beat cancer, I can do ANYTHING! I will be sipping on my “special” debloating drink today (thanks to Tish) which I know will greatly help. Tomorrow should show some progress. I just want everyone to know that my small town does not have a bakery (nor does our small grocery store). Therefore, there are no bagels or donuts to be had (fresh) ANYWHERE WITHIN AN HOUR’S DRIVE OF MY HOME. I caved more than once in the last few travel days. NO MORE DONUTS OR BAGELS FOR ME ANYTIME SOON! Just keeping it honest here.

@cdavisdeva Been wanting to comment your lil guy is so adorable! Looks a little like my grandson, round and sweet and oh so loveable! I want to acknowledge you for doing this so soon after having him, it can be extra difficult being a new mom and taking care of yourself, I know firsthand! As a mom of 5 the best advice I have is to always remember to take care of yourself first, so you have more to give to your loved ones. If we operate at an emotional deficit we can never catch up...your cup needs to get filled first so you can overflow to everyone else. xoxoxo
@denswrex thank you so much! I also meant to share the picture here too and it slipped my mind. Maybe I will do that soon . I really appreciate your advice! Makes sense, so many times I have taken care of the baby and my other 2 children and don't even stop to eat or take care of myself, and end up extra exhausted because of it. I have gotten much better about this. Congrats on being a Grandmother! ❤4 -
quiltingjaine wrote: »@cdavisdeva It is quite a boost when someone notices. YAY!
@quiltingjaine Thank you and YES! Makes me feel wonderful when people notice. A couple weeks ago when I went back home to see my family, their jaws literally dropped because how much I lost since the last time I seen them. I do not mention this to brag, just mention it because I see myself in the mirror every day and it is hard to see the loss as much, but I definitely do feel it!

I walked 2 miles at lunch today because it was SOOOOO beautiful and I wasn't sure I would be able to go after work. This is Indian Creek, there is a 27 mile long trail that follows it across the state line between Missouri & Kansas. I have walked all but the last 3 miles. I hope to do that this month.

10/25 175.2 - Woah what? 😲That's got to be water! Crazy. I feel like I was real consistent with my water yesterday, but I'm going to be extra mindful of it today.
Also, I'm needing to work on stress management. This past few days at work I've been feeling a little overwhelmed. I've got to figure it out because this time of year through around March/April it's often crazy busy at the hospital.
Last challenge I set a goal of 6 days with exercise and I'm going to continue that goal.
10/26 173.8 - I knew that had to be water! It's my day off and today's things to do include some cleaning, getting some exercise, grocery shopping and getting some rest! Have a great day everyone!
