Thanks @psuLemon I actually started watching but only got about half-way through and forgot about it! He has a new program called Booty by Bret, not sure if that's the one you are talking about or he is coming out with another one? Anyhow right now it's not in my budget, but I think for my next bulk in 2020 I will look into it
Booty sounds right. It was a quick reference and since I don't focus on my booty, I didn't decide to write it down.
@sardelsa and the ladies, i also meant to mention, if you dont follow Stephanie Buttmore, it might be worth it. She has a glute/lower body hypertrophy focused workout plan. A lot of her plans arw coordinated/co-designed with her boyfriend Jeff Nippard. She has a PhD in something related to women and hormones. So her advice and knowledge is very tailored.
Lol, Buttmore? Ridiculously appropriate last name
I figured it was a pseudonym.2 -
All right. It's the first Monday of the new year. This is the day I get serious! 193.0 this morning. Under 185 by Feb 16 is goal.
Today's food is pre-logged and calories and macros are on point. Now to just stick to it!3 -

Why don't you just wake up in the morning hit the station bike for 20 before eating to melt the fat and keep low sodium for the next couple weeks you will be ripped as ever!12

I just eat less over time to lose fat. I don't do well with fasted cardio. And I don't need to lose water, it makes my glutes look flat...not what I am going for.1 -

I get up at 3:45 and hit the gym for 1.5 hours, fasted. Then I return after work for another hour or so. I need extra sodium so I don't cramp. I weigh and log my food to lose weight.Fasted cardio has no effect on weight loss versus fed cardio. #science3 -
I think your needing to go to the gym so often quickslyv is because your eating the extra sodium and not going hard enough in the 1.5 am session just my opinion12

I eat more to gain weight and put on muscle. That is how it works. My metabolism is just perfect thanks . And I'm already as shredded/lean as I want to be. I got there with hard work.7 -

She trains as a powerlifter and has a coach. Her goals are not “general” fitness or getting ripped... she trains to pick up heavy assed *kitten*.
What do you train for and what are your goals? I’m a bodybuilder and I guarantee that I can cut just fine with zero fasting and zero cardio. If you find peddling your stationary bike helps you - great... but I’m a bit confused by your seeming obsession with sodium. Do you confuse water retention with fat loss?6 -
Lol ok ill just go it's obvious your getting mad thinking I'm trying to tell you what to do when I was just giving advice you said you eat more to gain weight but right before that said you don't eat to lose weight so it's pretty obvious you don't even know what you want thanks for the convo I guess enjoy life7

I said I eat less over time to lose and eat more over time to gain (when I'm bulking).
I'm not getting mad, but I know what I am doing. I started this thread in April and have since cut down to the best physique of my life.
Nothing wrong with giving input on what you do to cut, but you are giving people advice that aren't asking for it without even knowing their goals.7 -

Thanks for having my back while I was gone, @jseams1234!6 -
Read this comment in a different thread and thought it timely.wilson10102018 wrote: »Salt is your electrolyte. Without it really bad things happen. Like kidney failure.
Too much salt can cause water retention. If your shoes won't fit, you might want to cut back. Big deal. Also, if you are a cardiac event recovery patient, there is some evidence that lower sodium is a good thing. Other than that, all the hoopla about salt and sodium is just CLICK BAIT!6 -
And, just for fun, Brad Schoenfeld's scientific study on fasted cardio. May want to read through this, @longhorns34112.
