My one year progress! Not too bad! I’m 5’6” SW 175 Current 164 Goal 150 maybe 145 and rocking those jeans not just fitting into them

Can some of you pl share your food/nutrition and exercise routines? I am 5ft 7 43 yes old female, started at 203 in June 2018 and down to 181/182 by Nov 2018 then holiday wt crept up and gained 2-3 lbs with vacations. Tryg to get bck on the routine. Ive been hypothyroid since I was 15 so I keep am at 1200-1300 cals; 100 gns protein, 70/80 gms carbs, 70 grms fat or so. I eat clean most of the time, do strength traing once a week, barre classes 2 times, 10k steps 2-3 times a week. Ny wt liss has been slow but for the first time in 7 yrs I weigh the lowest!!! I need to lose another 30 lbs.9

Counting calories is the single best thing you can do for yourself if you really want to get serious about losing weight. No matter how much you exercise (except top athletes, of course), you simply cannot outrun what you put in your mouth. Not too complex really.
Started diligently tracking my calories and realized I was eating 3000+ a day. Brought that back to 1500 by eating smaller portions but still the same food, just less.
The weight came off at a rate of 0,6 kg a week. I didn't exercise.
I had a blimp around the mid 60s kg and at that point I started to look closer at my macros, lowered my carbs and upped my protein. As I was impatient I brought my calories back to 1200 (which I don't recommend)!
Once I reached the high 50s kg I should have started recomp to keep and/or strengthen muscle but life got hectic at that time and I ended up running on coffee and lost a too much weight and muscle.
Currently busy correcting that by running a lean bulk while doing Strong Curves and it that works like a treat! Loving SC and I'm now back on 55 kg, 2 more kg to go.
My maintenance intake is 2000. That took a while to figure out but slowly upped my intake and let my body adjust.
Good luck as there is a lot of determination needed!12 -

I am where you were in June!! Same height similar age etc. I noticed you lost 20lbs over 5 months. How quickly /slowly did it come off. I thought it would come off me quicker at this point.3 -

My wt has come off v slowly so definitely have to be patient. For thefirst 1-2 months I was between 193-199 then the 186/188s then slowly down to 183/184 It has taken time, I didnt doanythg drastic and I also ate out sometimes more than I wantedto with friends etc. so i kept going down and up. I think if I was strict with my food the wt wouldhavevsteadily come off a bit quicker.
I am now tryg desperately to get out of the 180s and its been v hard. I addeda green smoothie for my guthealth and that added carbs so Im at 100 gms protein 100 gms carbs, 70 gns fat. Still at 1300-1400 cals.
Have another 30 lbs to go ughhh3 -

86lbs down, I used to be 5’7 but now since I’ve lost weight I’m 5’8 (measured at the doctors) they said my posture improved due to not carrying all the excess weight!64 -

WOW! Gosh, you're gorgeous in both pictures, but there's no denying how much more confident you come off in the after pic.
Maybe my 5' 5.5" self can squeak out another .5 inches after losing weight so that I'm no longer rounding up to 5'6". If not, oh well, the loss itself will be a major victory!10
