@imserrano03 This is so very helpful and inspiring! Amazing work! I am 5’7 and I know that at 160 I look healthy, like you do above, and felt just okay about my weight at 150, but I have my current goal set for 145 right now - you may have just convinced me to try for 135, just to see. Thanks for posting!4 -
So I'm 5'6" and just turned 50 so looking to make these years as good as my 30s... fit and fabulous at 50! You guys are so motivational and I'm going to need it next week when I travel to keep me working out and making good choices. No pics but had an amazing day today! My progrss this first month kicked *kitten*!

I know everyone always says that they regret not taking measurements and before pictures at the start of their journey, and I always told myself that I would do that, but it's been 21 days of logging and I haven't done it yet. You've inspired me to take my measurements tonight and do a proper before photo.
Rock on, sister!5 -
Not the best pictures, but am over half way to my goal. 5'6", 36y and mom of 2. Started at 160, although my before photos are more like 155. New photos are 143. My goal is 130-135 range, but fit. I'm getting back into the shape I was in about 4 years ago before depression and back problems hit me.

Don’t have a great “Before” but you get the idea. I am 5’6”. Before is 168, after is 128. ,51 years old.5

There are some incredible before and after pictures here. Well done to so many of you!👍😁3

Congratulations!! What a fantastic transformation!
Can you give some details about how you accomplished this? Looks like you work out. At what point did you start lifting/working out and what do you do?
Just wonderful.1 -

So, I’m 54. I started my journey on 27 May 2018. I eat around 1800 calories a day aiming to eat at least 100g protein and no more than 125g carbs per day. I don’t worry too much about fat. I am consistent in my eating and have found 3 meals, 2 hot milk drinks and 1 150 calorie snack per day is sustainable.
Initially I trained 2 times per week with a gentle weight and aerobics type program. As I got fitter, I added in 3 days per week cycle training. I use Zwift and a turbo trainer twice per week and ride on the road once a week. Then in December I added 2 sessions per week of heavy lifting- deadlifts, squats, lunges and chest presses. My lighter weights/aerobic sessions have adapted as I’ve become fitter and have a greater focus on HIIT and body weight exercises, Boxing, skipping, battle ropes and assisted (band) pull ups. I do a Parkrun on a Saturday and have improved my 5k run time by 6 minutes in 9 weeks! Now I train 6 days per week, twice a day on 3 of those days.
In recent weeks I started feel tired and my recovery slowed. My weight training coach has recommended I get some new nutrition advice as it is likely my diet is insufficient for full recovery.
I had a Dexa scan in October 2018 and again 4 weeks ago. I lost 9.9kg of fat between the scans and gained 1.6kg of muscle. 5kg of fat loss came from my trunk.20 -

It's photo update day - I take update photos every 6 weeks and play spot the changes as it helps keep me motivated. On the left 25th January 71.8 kg. On the right 6th March, 70.0 kg. A loss of 3lb. Waist looks a tad smaller, back looks a bit stronger.

Is this about me? If so, I work out 6 days a week, 25 minutes running/20 minutes walking fast on an incline/ 30 minutes strength training (strength only on 5 of the 6 days. 2 days upper body using machines and some freeweights, 2 days lower body using a lot of standard machines, and one day just core). Basically I just used whatever machines I could understand how to use at first! Lol.14 -
I’m 5 7 and have lost about 60 pounds but I’m still wearing the same underwear! When did you ladies toss all your bigger panties and buy smaller ones?2

5'6" and 100lbs down in just under 11 months. Lift heavy 3 times a week plus a session of pilates, yoga, run, HITT and watt bike. Eat 200kcals due to the exercise. See looking to do 10 more lbs. We will see!

Massive congratulations on the weight loss!!
Definitely get some smaller underwear. It was the only I kept buying on my way down. Just got those cotton packs for 5 in each size. However, now I am at the size I want I may have brought some new ones that makes me feel pretty sexy!! I would recommend! 😂😂7 -

Get some new ones soon haha!
I resisted and at about 50 lbs lost I ended up having underwear just fall down in my pants while walking down the street far from home and privacy.... It was a major dig to pull them up and had to get where I was going holding them up the rest of the way with one hand. Hard to be discreet but massively lumpy pants arent easy to hide either..lol!
LOL!!1 -
