I still have a LONG way to go, but the first 35 pounds are gone thanks to MFP. I can't wait to get back to a healthy place.

Can't figure out how to edit my original post.
For me it was 3 meals a day and snacks if I was hungry. Exercise had to be for the sake of enjoying moving my body...for appreciating what my body does...NOT for the sake of changing myself. Avoiding the scale like the plague. Buying new clothes if that meant clothes that weren't triggering or upsetting. Journaling, reading some great books such as "The Gifts of Imperfection" by Brene Brown and "Outrageous Openness" by Tosha Silver. Therapy....lots of therapy.3 -

About 1.5 years from my major “re-starting” point in 2018! I’d lost about 60lbs over the years prior but decided to really make some progress and get closer to my final goals. My torso is leaning out and my quads are growing...heavy lifting and cardio splits are treating me well this year!

Mine's just a work-in-progress in a tiny bathroom, but it's from today! 6 month difference, and I started getting serious around April, so most of my progress is from the last 2 months.

Here is mine... 192 to 170 (still more to go) but what I really changed in me was how much stronger I feel now. I never worked out, though I tried many times. I finally found a gym that works for me and they are supper supportive, so I have gained strength I didn't know I had. I am working on losing 20 pounds more of body fat. Wish me luck

I have a new before & after photo. Taken approximately 3 years apart.. about a 40lb difference. My daughter sure has grown too! Same bathing suit, just fits/looks a lot better now! I've been in maintenance for about 6 months, maintaining at 122-124lb.
