I spent 7 hours in the ER with my mom. Apparently she had a migraine headache. She hasn’t had a migraine in years. Sleeping now, thank goodness!!
The bike ride looks awesome. I’m getting ready to head to the park for a walk. The weather is awesome today, but it’s supposed to be 92-98 all of next week! So done with the high temps!!
Allergies - Louisville, KY is a top 10 city for allergies! Columbus, OH wasn’t much better. The ragweed is making me miserable!!

Go!!! Pip & Kirby!!! Ride like the wind!!!
Too knackered to comment tonight. Will sleep like a baby as I was working in the garden today!5 -
Sue in WA: I’m so happy that your ulcers are healing!
Rho: My yoga classes are in Columbia City, a little town about 40 miles west of PDX.
Teri in AZ: Congrats on your weight loss progress. WTG!!!
Barbara: The mean neighbor has moved away. There is a new family in that house and they are delightful people.
Lynda: WAHOO! Maybe we can all be on a glutton free diet.
Pip & Kirby: WTG!!!!!!
Have a great day!

Finally caught up. Too much going on last few days to be on too much. Doesn’t take long for 200 posts!
Dandi1986 – curious as to why you are limiting yourself to 1200 calories a day? That is pretty aggressive. Maybe try adjusting your weekly loss goal?
Rhonda – glad doctor’s were able to sort out your issues and provide assistance.
Lisa in AR -so true that the only thing we can control is our own reactions/actions.
Allie – our fur babies are our family!
LuciBThinner -glad surgery went well, sorry for the pain. No two surgeries are ever the same. Don’t beat yourself up over the ice cream-once in while won’t ruin anything.
Sue in WA – glad endoscopy showed good results.
BananasandOranges – sorry knee is not showing progress. Mine is still bothersome (forgot to ask doctor about it). I have found using a roller on the inner thigh muscle to provide relief. I just need to remember to do it regularly. Are you going to see one of the two other doctors you can? Good news on your colleague.
Debby in VA – Happy Anniversary!
Teri in AZ – congrats on weight loss. Whatever you set for your goal right now is always open to change. Try for 160 and see how you look and feel. It was hard for me to tie a number with how I would look and feel.
Karen in Virginia – thanks for explanation about emojis and pictures. Haven’t been able to figure that out.
Pip – I am tired looking at what you are are riding! Good cause. One of my favorite people at work has MS. She seems to have things in hand at the present most days. Took her forever to get diagnosed – doctor was writing it off to hysterical woman. But she knew her body and perservered.
Busy day today. Got cleaning done. Laundry and ironing. New curtains hung. My husband always liked dark curtains on living room (think black). Didn’t want anyone to be able to see in. Made things pretty dark, think his depression may have drawn him to it. Decided to replace those a few years ago-I went from black to burgundy (a bit lighter). Cats have mad some snags in them and sun fading out and I just got tired of dark and gloomy. Ordered some off Amazon (not spending lots because cats like to hang out in front picture window). Very light gray with silver foil design. Very pleased with how much they brighten up the rooms. And they are thermal backed, so I think they will keep peeping Toms at bay.
Going to check some emails (trying to keep up on them). Also, I think there are some going to my junk mail that shouldn’t be, so need to check those boxes also.
Take care all,

Thank you to all who have sent good wishes to me on my eyes! It means so much to me!! They are doing very well! Still getting used to them, and still bothered by light, but my vision (distance) is SO good!! Expecting them to be fabulous in the very near future! I no longer need glasses for distance, and reading is still tough (need reading glasses), so I am very behind on reading September's days...and the pages keep coming...lol!
Michele I meant the damage of falling into eating ice cream to feel better. It's not a big deal, just an emotional one.
Got in some walking today. It's been tough to get exercise while recouping (because my depth perception is off and through today the flashing was rough). I had to walk indoors with sunglasses...everyone may have thought I was crazy, but what do I care at this age!!
I still hope to get back to reading from the beginning of the month. I really enjoy hearing how everyone is doing and I like keeping up with everyone. It's a bit tough as quickly as the pages fill, but I know I will get there.
I haven't set goals for the month because quite frankly I am keeping them very limited so as not to fail. My biggest goal is to continue to log daily, keep moving, and get my house ready for the new baby. Having until December to do it would make it seem like an easy goal, but there is SO much clutter and dirt (having two large dogs drag in dirt multiple times a day doesn't help) and since I went for 11 years without being able to do much cleaning at all, it is amazing how dirty a house can get!!
Thank you, again, all who have said such kind things and have voiced concern. I expect today was the last day it will be so difficult to focus!
Welcome Newbies!!
My new Ohio State friends, feel free to razz me about today's game. And congrats on killing Cincinnati! Omgosh! Barely beating Army??? What in the world has happened to my poor team! LOL!

Machka Just remembered about your father's eye surgeries. Did he have similar work done? I will keep him in my prayers. Harder to go through this when you are older I am sure. My Dad could barely handle the drops afterward when I cared for him. I don't even feel them.2

Terri – BBBEEEAAAUUUTTTIIIFFFUUULLL cardigan. I don’t think I could ever do something like that
Welcome everyone new. The best advice is to log, log, log along with exercise
Went in the pool (of course) then the spa, Vince grilled the salmon and chicken so I portioned and packed that up for use the next few weeks
Wish DJ would come back. I see she’s still logging, tho
I made a lap quilt to hang up. Started to hand quilt it, but I HATE quilting so took that out, got backing material so I’ll take it to someone to quilt for me. The material for the back is usually a little more than $7, it was on sale so I paid a little over $2.
Lynda – glutton free…LOL

Ginny, when you post an emoji, it looks like a lot of code in the reply box and doesn't show up until you post the reply. Try clicking on "quote" under someone's post when they post an emoji and you'll see the code for the emoji. Sometimes when I see one that I like, I do that and copy the code to my post or to a document on my computer so I can use it later.
