Good evening, all.

I am sorry to hear that things are getting tight for so many of you, and lonely. I wish I could make a grocery run for you.

I went into work today for a few hours. I didn't run into a single person, so it was perfect. I left a bunch of work for the administrative assistant. I need to email her tomorrow to warn her. I will work from home the rest of the week and then go back in next Saturday for a few hours. There are some things that I need my office for.

All five of us are home now, and the food is flying out of here. I am starting to get nervous about TP and food. Not that we have an issue now, but we could in another week or two.

The boys and I worked in the back yard for an hour or two this afternoon. It was good for all of us. We sat around on the patio after and chatted for a few minutes before they went back to their computers.

Gym closed now. Finally. So walking and light weights are going to be it for me for a while. I may also cue up a yoga video. Also, because classes are included in our gym membership, we can access two months of free classes on line from the class provider. I may try that, as well. The gym also mentioned taping some yoga classes of their own for us to access, but they haven't given us that information yet.

Lisa thanks for the Emily Landon quote. I feel the same way about Y2K, it turned out to be no big deal because of the huge effort invested in the preventative measures.
SuziQ our Hoover died awhile back. Have been wanting a Dyson stick, finally bit the bullet and ordered it. It came last week, and I am sorry I waited so long. Vacuuming with this new toy is almost fun. As I move from room to room, I keep reaching for the cord, but it isn’t there The most amazing thing is IT WORKS. I run it over the spruce needles and long Skye Terrier hair and they disappear the first time! Near tears of joy. Didn’t get the most current v11 model (too spendy) the v7 was almost reasonable and came with more attachments. The short battery life hasn’t hit me yet, but then I have no great desire to vacuum for more than 20 minutes at a time Highly recommended but be sure to get the one that comes with a soft fluffy brush for hard surfaces. The brush that works so well on hair and needles in carpet does not pick up stuff from laminate.
Kay ((hugs)) to your mom and prayers for your dad. Afraid that the day will come when we should move into an apartment in town and Joe will adamantly refuse.

@LuciBThinner Can’t believe his doctor asked him to try to wait til Monday to go in to the office instead of going to hospital. IMHO, the risk of clot with his history is worse than the risk of C19. A quick ER trip and rx would be my choice.
Flea expect our governor to issue shelter-in-place order Monday. ;}

Healthy food, clean water, sanitation, shelter, warmth, love, purpose…
Everyone needs these as much as they need money.

Share what you can, share with those nearest you, your neighbors, your town, the folks living in the street.

Let the over-abundance of material wealth take some of the burden for those hit hardest.

Transform the landscapes of your community and grow food, grow medicine, breathe in life.

Share real, human, earthly love.

Good Sunday-

We were actually complimented at work for or cleaning practices. Several customers said they had been other places that weren't wiping between customers nor wiping pens. We only had one jerk (a tree cutter). My husband asked two tree cutters to please wait outside for their people as we were trying to limit the number of people in the shop at one time. Those two had already bought things. They understood. Another guy came in and wanted a pair of gloves. He was waiting his turn but was standing in front of the credit card machine. My SIL asked him to please move down the counter so she could complete her customer's transaction. We are trying not to handle customer's cards. The glove guy got pissed and said he would just go somewhere else. Oh well. The other 2 customers at the counter said good riddance to the jerk. Our counter is 20 ft long. All he had to do was step away. Smh

Came home changed into comfy clothes, washed hands again. Sorted a bunch of paperwork. Got my printer to work finally! Paid a few bills. Cooked fried potatoes and eggs for supper. Kind of productive but not really. I really need to get some stuffs done today. I overheard my husband tell a friend over the phone last night that yes we could go driving around just to get out, but why? We are already exposed to people at work every day and have no reason to go out to any stores at this time. I am so PROUD of him. A stay at home day is really hard for him, much less a weekend.😏

Saw a video of a lady who conducted a Zumba class from her back porch with a bull horn and giant speakers for her neighbors. They all moved from their own back porches, got fresh air, exercise, and social connection while maintaining personal distancing. I found it inspiring!

Sharon- This group of ladies have given some wonderful suggestions for help. You are a strong lady, but need help right now. Please look into it. I too would shop for you if I was closer. You don't need to be out.

Gratitude
1. My home in the country with beautiful views and wildlife.

5. The internet. Just got off of cellular last year and am so thankful for real internet since we are home more.
6. Food in my cupboards, freezer, and fridge. We won't go hungry.
7. My faith to keep me centered during trials and worries.
8. My friend's for just being there.
9. Running water for toilets, cleaning, and drinking
10. The community of ladies that support each other so well here!

Amber- Those are some great genes in your Dad's church community! I think you came up with a great solution. Even if they can't hear him, that sense of normalcy could be helpful and calming to some.

This is a new challenge in today's world. With the love and support of great folks like you ALL, we will get through this. I need to go get something productive done.

Plan for today:
Shampoo carpets
Laundry
Pay bills
Work on work paperwork
Water plants
Work on in case of emergency notebook (need to get passwords all written down and updated)
Probably end up posting some eBay stuffs for husband. (I really dislike doing it, but he is making money and getting rid of stuffs even if just stuffs in drawers and boxes)
Walk for an hour on our driveway this afternoon. It is cold but the sun is shining.
