Check out the sugar content on 0% fat yoghurt (or 0% fat anything) though. Depending on your dietary needs, you might be better with higher fat (e.g. 3.5%), lower sugar.8 -

Very good thing to bring up. There is some good 0% fat yogurt - the stuff I use has 1 gram of carb in it and no added sugar. It's important to get the plain kind though. I use Greek style - more protein.5 -
I'm currently waking up to get moving before I start work at 7:30 PM. It's a temporary job and I missed exercise this morning. It rained and my ankles were sore from standing up at my desk for the past several shifts so I did some stretches for a few minutes and am eyeing my Gazelle Slider which I may do at "lunch" later tonight8

Having small sweets available. So the great desire to eat everything sweet and then cry was limited to about 200 calories, which is infinitely better than it used to be. (That, and having some fudge that is, ah, enhanced. That helps with the cramps and the foul mood.)7

Can you get a mat to help cushion your stand? They really do make a difference when you do a lot of standing in one place for hours.

I’m just following my body, whenever is hungry I eat, but within my calories for sure!5

Routine. Moving meant that all my routines were disrupted, and I'm just now getting some of them reestablished so that I take all my meds on time.2
-
I just got off some *kitten* meds which I had to take at 9am every day and I had to eat something with them. Last week I got off them after 6 months and yesterday I restarted Intermittent Fasting. IF definitely works for me4

Replacing a glass of multivitamin fruit juice at breakfast with a larger glass of water. It saves me sugar and calories and the water is what I need at that time of day in the summer. This probably won't work in the winter but by then I should be eating at maintanence, I hope.5

Being prepared and doing things in good order. It always pays off but today it let us do something Boyfriend finds stressful without him melting down.1

Sugar free jello and Cool Whip works for me almost every day. I know how many awful ingredients they have but the rest of my food is cooked from scratch and mostly clean. The jello keeps me from feeling deprived and resentful, thus able to keep on program so far.13

Getting inspiration from other members, and not being a couch potato! Yay!6

I am in VIOLENT agreement with this. I was off the jello train for a while but back on and mix it in greek yogurt with some pretzels mmm sweet and salty6 -
Hi I got an early walk in. Then I walked home from a work opt. SO I got alot of steps in. I call people, and walk and talk4

Then I had some with green soup and it was amazing. It worked well for portion control. Another thing that worked was listening to a really inspiring podcast about weight loss theory as it rekindled my interest and gave me a boost of motivation.
What was the podcast? I am looking for some inspiration!

In this case it was an episode of "The Art of Manliness" called "how to lose weight and keep it off forever." AOM has a fair amount of really interesting evidence based health topics, that are applicable for both genders. Good show! This does not go to a commercial link.

Looking ahead at the whether forecast and realising it would be a scorcher I decided to get my walk in early in the morning by going to the bakery (they open 8am) and getting my Saturday treat and then coming back home for a nice leisurely breakfast.
I got such a good start to the day that it snowballed into me impulsively signing up for and running off to an aerial yoga class.8 -
i found this GLen Livingston on web, how to stop binge eating very helpful, also quit eating hard candy and getting into husb stash of junk food. 2 more lbs and I will be back into the 150's.7
-
Keeping my goals doable so I can do this for the rest of my life!7
-
Cutting out soda and replacing with water with berries in it and drinking more water with lemons too. Very refreshing!5

I really miss my Noom buddies who helped me lose 21 pounds, so I'm looking for a group to post to and get encouragement from/give encouragement to. What worked for me today was recommitting to my 3 basic go-to goals: drink 48 oz water, walk 5,500 steps, and log my food. If I achieve these, I feel like a winner! It kind of resets my "program." I've lost 9 more pounds on my own since April, for a total of 30 pounds since last December.15

After a bad sunburn(couldn't wear a shirt because of the pain, let alone a bra) I felt like completely giving up. Then I watched a video on YouTube about how you're worth losing the weight and how the effort and pain is so worth it in the end when you can move much easier. You clothing fits better. You feel better in your own skin.
Then I realized how I cant give up. Not again. It might be tough but it's going to be worth it.6 -
Great job everyone! What worked for me today was to track everything ahead of time, and sticking to the plan of only eat what I put down. We can do this!4

Sunday is Donut Day. One for breakfast, one for afternoon snack, .... but I woke up at 5 am to texts from parental caretaker and have been mainlining tea and chai lattes ever since.
What worked for me today was recognizing there was probably going to be a stress factor and pre- logging in a couple hundred extra calories.
That gave me the freedom to go through the day and tinker and adjust freely, removing a snack or extra sandwich here and adding more of something there.
Net result should be only about 7 calories over goal.
Aw, wittle Spwinglewing is gwowing up. And it onwy took 58 years to learn to cope lol.14 -
And btw, I did have both donuts. I earned those suckers.15
-
Prepping up some sweet potatoes, onions, zucchini, red peppers, and mushrooms and then having half for lunch and the other half for dinner, along with Maui Maui (dinner only).5
-
Low carb through the morning kept me from getting hungry and staying hungry.5
-
Tracking everything I ate, and had not done that in a while. So grateful for this site. Had a great lst week and lost 3 pounds. Woo Hoo! I still binged a bit, but I kept at it and asked myself....what can I do better today than I did yesterday? We can do it!4
-
What worked for me today was getting up early & getting after it. I went early to see my chiropractor & then got in a 90-minute walk -- for me a record!6
-
Meal plans. Makes life SO much easier when I don't have to come up with what to eat.2
