I really miss my Noom buddies who helped me lose 21 pounds, so I'm looking for a group to post to and get encouragement from/give encouragement to. What worked for me today was recommitting to my 3 basic go-to goals: drink 48 oz water, walk 5,500 steps, and log my food. If I achieve these, I feel like a winner! It kind of resets my "program." I've lost 9 more pounds on my own since April, for a total of 30 pounds since last December.15

After a bad sunburn(couldn't wear a shirt because of the pain, let alone a bra) I felt like completely giving up. Then I watched a video on YouTube about how you're worth losing the weight and how the effort and pain is so worth it in the end when you can move much easier. You clothing fits better. You feel better in your own skin.
Then I realized how I cant give up. Not again. It might be tough but it's going to be worth it.6 -
Great job everyone! What worked for me today was to track everything ahead of time, and sticking to the plan of only eat what I put down. We can do this!4

Sunday is Donut Day. One for breakfast, one for afternoon snack, .... but I woke up at 5 am to texts from parental caretaker and have been mainlining tea and chai lattes ever since.
What worked for me today was recognizing there was probably going to be a stress factor and pre- logging in a couple hundred extra calories.
That gave me the freedom to go through the day and tinker and adjust freely, removing a snack or extra sandwich here and adding more of something there.
Net result should be only about 7 calories over goal.
Aw, wittle Spwinglewing is gwowing up. And it onwy took 58 years to learn to cope lol.14 -
And btw, I did have both donuts. I earned those suckers.15

Prepping up some sweet potatoes, onions, zucchini, red peppers, and mushrooms and then having half for lunch and the other half for dinner, along with Maui Maui (dinner only).5
-
Low carb through the morning kept me from getting hungry and staying hungry.5

Tracking everything I ate, and had not done that in a while. So grateful for this site. Had a great lst week and lost 3 pounds. Woo Hoo! I still binged a bit, but I kept at it and asked myself....what can I do better today than I did yesterday? We can do it!4

What worked for me today was getting up early & getting after it. I went early to see my chiropractor & then got in a 90-minute walk -- for me a record!6

Meal plans. Makes life SO much easier when I don't have to come up with what to eat.2

laying out my gym clothes, headphone and pre workout last night.
Was in my face as soon as I walked in the bathroom at 5:00am and didnt even question going back to bed.5 -
started to journal my feelings and anxiety's which meant I handled these in a healthy way rather numbing myself with crap food.7

Getting up early and getting after it yes 4:30 is early but now its done.
Again- laying out my gym clothes, headphones and pre workout last night was essential to not going back to bed.
Also thankfully made a bunch of hardboiled eggs- I have a meeting during lunch but now I can stick to my meal instead of binging after work or getting fact food.7 -
reminding myself that patience is a virtue... it took me years to get here, it may not take years to get healthier but it will take time. Stay the course.5

Salad and soup. Even though I've been extra hungry lately, I've been using soup and salad to round out my meals and stay full. So far, so good!5
-
Logging, weighing my food, no junk food in the house.2
-
Having stuff around that's a little smaller than what I fit in now. My weight is holding steady-ish, but I fit into smaller jeans. That's a real boost of confidence and assurance.5
-
Having soup before dinner and drinking lots of water.2

Adapting! My first gyrotonic session in over a decade was cancelled at the last minute. It was to be the highlight of my active rest day.
Instead, a did some walking throughout the day and was treated to a bonus evening walk along the waterfront since my crush stopped by unexpectedly to chat.6 -
I wrote out my goals, and kept reminding myself to fallow through with them. Did it.💗4
