@shanaber Glad you didn't have any major side affects from the shots. My arm is not as sore this morning as it was last night. Mom said hers is a little sore today, but that is all, so far. I did read last night that if you have had CoVID prior to the shot that you tend to have a reaction to the first shot and not the second one. So, fingers crossed that we are going to be okay. I'm glad your hamstring is mostly behaving and hope you get your PT appointment soon.

Pretty windbreaker @polskagirl01 . Great that you went out and did your run anyway. You are so disciplined. Hahaha about the 100 meter time trial!

@Teresa502 Glad you got your vaccine yesterday. Still just a sore arm for me, and it feels much better today. Mom got sick at her stomach tonight, but she's pretty sure it was the sandwich she ate for dinner, not the shot. I hope that's the case.

@katharmonic Glad you got to see the PT and it's one that is familiar with your situation. I'm glad she thinks you will be able to go for your hiking weekend. I hope it starts to feel better soon.

    March total: 39.30/62 miles

My neighbor and I had made plans to mow my mom's lawn after I got home from work today, so, in order to keep my streak alive, I got up early enough this morning to do a mile walk on the treadmill.

It was sprinkling rain when I got off work, but it didn't do much. After much finagling, we decided we would try to mow before the rain started in earnest. We had some mower issues, since this is the first time we have mowed this year and we didn't do the maintenance earlier that dad usually does. Fortunately, another neighbor, who mows lawns for a living, came down with his big mower to help. He did the big part, I pushed mowed the tight places and helped weed eat, and the other neighbor weed eat. I was sprinkling when we started, but didn't get hard enough for us to have to stop. So, we did get it mowed, and got a little damp too. Glad it was warm! AND great to have such sweet neighbors.

    74.13/100  miles completed for March

I was tired yesterday and forgot to post my run. I ran a little over 5 miles yesterday and then again today. Both runs were good. The weather was nice but it is supposed to be colder and windier tomorrow.  Work has been really busy so I am behind on the thread. I figured I would post these runs and then go back and read.

Was in the low 40s this morning, and 30mph wind, so opted for a slow and easy treadmill session.

This place looks fun. I swear some of you look very familiar. Must be some sort of deja-vu.

I'm a low mileage runner/walker just starting out on building up my cardio in a new journey in health and fitness. I am planning to build that up to moderate mileage by the end of spring. I don't have any specific mileage goal yet as I am feeling myself out by time and effort. So I'll just add it up and see what I can do with that later.

I'll start my tracking with yesterday's run/walk since that's the first day I tracked distance and other data after dusting off the old running watch and HRM. The couple weeks prior to that I was just going by time using just the stopwatch feature on my phone. Wow, am I out of shape!

    3/17 - 1.67 mile easy effort
    3/18 - .98 mile steady state effort

Welcome! Just jump in anytime and comment and report your progress!
