Holy crow Sara - your appendix? Yikes! You poor thing--5 days in the hospital must be hell. I hope you have been able to get little naps here and there; it's so hard to sleep in the hospital. A little of my MFP history: MFP SW (Dec 2019)-200 lb, MFP LW (Feb 2020)-142 lb..... my current weight is back up to 160 lb. I was at about 147 lbs this summer & I have gained back due to stress. Needless to say, I need to get a grip. I do really well with MFP as long as I stay focused and check-in!!

Thank you so much! Yes, meal planning is a MUST for me. I have 2 kiddos under the age of 5 and I work full time. I'm pretty busy most of the time! If I don't plan ahead, I end up eating junk food. Not good!1 -

Happy Wednesday! I did well yesterday and stuck to my goals. There was a drop in my weight this morning, most likely due to water weight. Still a releif to see! I'm repeating my goals from yesterday.

Hi everyone! I weighed in the same weight as yesterday. I did pretty well lastnight besides having a couple extra bites of my kids snacks and an extra glass of "mommy juice". No biggy though, I counted the calories! Trying to keep in mind everyday counts, even if the scale doesn't show it.
This Saturday will be a difficult one! We are hosting an early Thanksgiving dinner gathering for my husbands family & it will come with all the fixin's! My plan is to stick to mainly veggies and meat, go light on the gravy & go big on the brussel sprouts. Avoid empty carbs in bread and mashed poatoes. Have very small portions of the "no-no" dishes such as candied yams and green bean cassarole, if I can't resist them. Try not to go overboard on the appitizers and drinks..... But it's Thanksgiving, so I don't plan on being super strict. I plan on trying to send most of the leftovers home with family members, so they don't tempt me later. ESPECIALLY the desserts. So yeah, wish me luck! lol

Yes they do! I put the sweater on the little one and I have a carriage for her. She’s so spoiled just wish it wasn’t dark when I got out of work boo. If my job paid enough I’d reactivate my gym membership.

Hi all! Welp, this mornings weigh in sucked. I'm up 2 lbs..... probably due to the popcorn I snacked on lastnight. Carbs and sodium make me retain water like crazy. Oh well, onward and forward! Have a great Friday everyone!

Britt - I am a firm believer in the daily weighing, used along with journaling, in order to learn what your weekly swing-range is. Just Keep On Tracking. It's essential for daily weighers to zoom out and track the big, overall picture.
Miss Sara - good for you on the sleep. Sleep heals us. 🥰

Hi all,
I'm definitely a serial starter, but to be fair to myself, several of the slow starts have come after illnesses, injuries, etc. I had a little rainbow baby 14 mos ago and I was doing great, until I tore something in my abdomen doing farmy things. I'm hoping I'm mad and focused enough to get to a healthy size, though I don't have a clue how I'm going to get my cardio in with a toddler who hates confinement. I crave accountability, even if it's from strangers and I am straight up addicted to eating out. I needed to say that out loud so maybe I'll dent that habit a bit(?) Thanks for listening 🤪1 -

Good morning, Cabana Crew,
We have been practicing since mid-October, Lana. However, we are off this week and the play is next week. Rehearsal next Monday through Wednesday. Performances Friday through Sunday.
We had to take a break next Thursday because half our cast belongs to the community choir and their last rehearsal before cantata is that night.
Wishing everyone in the US a happy Thanksgiving! For those in other areas, hope your week is filled with happiness and laughter as well.
