February wasn't brilliant. Too busy! March is starting slowly as well. Lunches, meetings, etc. etc. eat into my walking time and the long commute really wears me out.

I put in a full 5-day week in the office for the first time since the beginning of December and I'm tired. We don't have much planned this weekend, except for the garden and cycling. :)

    Beautiful sky this morning!
Joyce loved her cats and singing. I do remember her. So sad.
    Hoping Pip is doing well.
    Better get my day going!

Barbara, Oh yes, way more important than knowing your favorite color or that you prefer dark chocolate. Really made me smile.

Barbara-So nice to hear you had a wonderful day! It's the little things that make our lives special.

Re: sound in movies/tv shows, it's common and apparently "the way it's done" that the sound people make the dialogue lower and then crank up the music/crashes/bombings. A friend of mine told me why a few years ago, but it was too technical for me to remember. The bottom line is that it may not be our hearing. An easy "fix" is to turn on subtitles so you don't bust your eardrums when a big crash happens in the movie. When the mister watches action movies, I have to leave the room. It physically hurts my ears.

It's raining buckets today. We need it, but it sure puts a damper on my exercise plans. :)

I am looking forward to seeing the puppies on Sunday at 11 am. DH & I are both looking forward to it. I’m not sure whether they will be old enough for us to bring a puppy home then. ❤️🐩❤️. Mama dog is gray & we were charmed by her.

Hoped to be able to progress with the burn pile but too windy already this morning. Just as well, best not to disrupt morning habit routine two days in a row. Next window, maybe Monday??? Whoops! Joe just asked if we couldn’t burn for even just an hour til it got too windy. Keeping to intent to encourage him in activity, dropping everything to meet him at the burn barrel. Worth a little disruption ;)

Holding pip and Kirby in thoughts and prayers.

    Lighter, lovelies!

Allie--I am trying to remember JmKmom. I remember her and her son growing so big so fast. Do you know what happen? Seems we have lost several this last year that do not post anymore and I wonder about them. I do hope they stand firm with Carmine as they have to learn the world does not revolve around them. It is not easy.

Tracey--The mugs are so cute. I agree you might benifit from a coloring book. I know when I color my mind relaxes. Great stress relief.

Flea--Sending prayers and hugs. Glad you are doing what you need to take care of yourself.

Okay now I am confused. The lady that passed away, was she the one with the young son that was growing big time, or the lady with MS who's husband liked to eat out all the time. Just saw machka's post and yes I do remember her. I wonder what happened to the lady with the young son. Thanks for sharing the obituary.

Katla--Excited for you to meet the puppies and pick out the prefect one.

So looking forward to having the weekend off and plan to do some house cleaning and work on the 4 baby blankets. Hoping we get the rain they are talking about and we need, so be a good day to stay inside. Church on Sunday and then get ready for the work week. Have a couple long days and meetings next week.
