    My name is Donna. I am 62 years old, 5' 5" tall. I live in the Midwest of USA. I am in remission for breast cancer, have Type 2 Diabetes, an under active thyroid, high blood pressure and cholesterol, some osteoporosis and coronary heart disease with a stent in my heart. I am working to get healthier. I know losing weight and exercising more will help all of these issues.



    CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT (FROM July 31, 2021): 201.6
    CHALLENGE TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS GOAL: Total Loss of 15 pounds to land at 186.6

    Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

    09/12-200.4-(Trend Weight: 199.2)- All the travel this week, the sitting and restaurant food, has really impacted my progress. It’s always my downfall. More travel this week but not as much. Gotta keep my home a safe zone! Sugar cravings are bad after I eat it and there was that wedding cake!

    09/19-197.8-(Trend Weight: 198.5)-I worked so hard this week to see a drop and to take advantage of our extended nice weather. Last night was my first hike this year due to my heart problems. I had to turn around halfway at the biggest hill due to breathing, but it felt great to hike along the river in the woods and enjoy nature and become one with it. I am feeling very hopeful that I will keep improving my weight. Some days I feel so negative, but lately, I’ve felt positive about it.

    09/26-198.6-(Trend Weight: 198.8)- It’s been a week of so much travel. I am glad the jump up isn’t more. Working hard at it in-between, when at home. Slowly increasing some mild exercise.

    No exercise this week as of yet. Each night, I am so tired from work!
    I know energy breeds energy- I have been sitting near my front window tonight and see many people walking outside.
    In the fall, I am always in a funk. I'm a teacher and fall is exhausting from so much work and meetings, etc.
    I planned on going to yoga and didn't.

    Sigh. I will get back on track.
    I have lost two pounds though. Because I work through lunch. That's good and bad.
