    Well, I don't know why I feel discouraged today. I'm doing really well, but I just want this weight off so bad that it's hard to be patient. So so hard to keep myself cheery. I'm just so tired of being fat!!! Argh!!!! I guess my attitude needs adjusting more that my food intake. Haha! Hope everyone's day is going better than mine.

    Today I asked myself why I still can't see my feet when I look straight down. I feel you. We just have to keep going and not give up.

    Had a great weigh in today at 227.1 so I'm setting a mini goal of 220 by Thanksgiving. That would be awesome! Wish me luck (and patience). Haha!

    For accountability... yesterday I didn't log or measure and I had a few higher calorie things. Unlike my scheduled weekend shenanigans this wasn't planned but, instead, was just my lack of self control for a day. I also have a cough when I exert myself so exercise isn't really happening much this week or I wouldn't worry about it overmuch. Here's hoping I keep myself in check the rest of the week and the weekend weigh in isn't too bad.

I am going to try to be very mindful of what I poke in my pie hole today while away on the 300 mile round trip.

    10/23-202.0-(Trend Weight: 200.7)- More travel this past week and that just puts me off the rails, even when I’m home. Gotta get back in control. My life belongs to me, right? Not to the bread and pasta!

    11/06-200.6-(Trend Weight: 200.0)- Frustrating bloat. It’s been up and down all week and I don’t think that pattern will improve since I have to take the water pill primarily every other day. I stayed within calorie yesterday, but mainly stood in place painting so I did not get in a lot of meaningful movement. Today is pill day so tomorrow should prove much better without so much water weight.

    Hi. My goal by the end of December is to be firmly off this plateau I've resided on since Jan 1st. Wt has bounced same 4 lbs up and down. Am an active sr. but have to be mindful of how much I push myself to avoid flaring hip and knee issues.
    Last nite was a huge win for me. Didn't eat anything after dinner. yeah! This'll be the key to my wt loss success.

    Oct 1st: 164.2
    Oct 8th: 163.8
    Oct 13th: Was stuck on a plateau of 163, then up and down 1 lb. Now have shifted to a plateau of 165!
    And it's midway thru October. Unfortunately this is a pattern.
    Today / this evening, I HAVE to remember all the lessons, all the tools I have to get thru today as my first totally on plan day in ages.

    11/13-198.2-(Trend Weight: 199.2)- Expected bloat but it’s never nice to see it on the scale. I traveled a little this past week and managed to keep the weight down which is unusual for me so I’m proud of that. 2 more days of travel this week so I am going to try hard to continue to resist all the big city temptations. This lady from a very rural Amish town has a very hard time resisting all the offerings a large city holds. You miss things like donuts, bagels, chain restaurants, steak houses, Italian, Chinese, Thai, Mexican. We have none of that. So the goal is to eat half and bring the rest home for the next day. When I do that (and I stay away from amazing desserts) I don’t do too badly (even with so much driving/sitting). Be good to yourself Donna and keep it under control!
