Making progress and feeling good about where I am right now. My diet has been cleaned up and my water intake is improving. Next step is working to incorporate more steps into my day! My job is very sedentary and high stress, so I struggle get 3,000 by the end of my shift. The cold Midwest days and early sunsets make it undesirable to get outside. Taking usual advice of parking further away and taking stairs. Also scheduled walking into my lunch break. Sometimes I can make it, other times work gets in the wayβ¦but every step counts!12 -

I'm bloated this time and hopefully it will all disappear again.
Nothing like water retention to put a stop to things.
I've been off work this week but haven't gone on any walks.
It's been far too cold, but once it starts to change I will get my self moving again.
All walking stopped when Christmas was close,my mind went onto sorting the house out this is still on going(it never really ends).

Total loss for January I am down another 1.4 pounds this week. I am down and 7.9 for the month. I am down just 12.1 pounds since Solstice (21 December). I have far surpassed my January goal. I got back to my goal weight, but then I kept losing. I am now actually below my maintenance window. I am not too worried; I've seen this scale number once before about three years ago. At that time I was concerned I might keep losing; no real need for worry. I love to eat. So I will give myself some leeway to eat a LITTLE bit more, but not much.
After maintaining a while at goal, I bounced up 15 pounds during the second six months of COVID restrictions. I fought those for for about 2.25 years and finally something changed and I was able to get back to goal/maintenance. Now back to that other chapter of weight management; keeping it within a small window above and below my goal. It's just as hard as losing; some say harder. I will succeed! You can too!
