@Teresa502 congrats on your relay race! Looks like you all had a great time! And I feel for you regarding the non-running related back injury. I pulled something in my lower back while bowling 2 weeks ago and it still isn't 100%. Good that it didn't bother you much after you warmed up.

@katharmonic Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Iit sounds like you have a great attitude about it and some wonderful IRL friends (and all of us virtual ones here) to help you get through it. Please check in when you feel like it to let us know how you are doing. Prayers and all the good vibes for an quick and full recovery!

You are doing great @chris_in_cal !

Nice running @tarun_yadavA ! You're getting it done, even when you are tired and it's windy!

    Nice intervals @Laurz9191 !

@Teresa502 You did great with that race. Love the pictures! Sorry your friend got sick and couldn't make it. I hope your back feels better and glad you were able to run. Yeah, It's Spring Break for the local schools, so it's always horrible weather. I was expecting it. LOL I'll be doing my "early" morning runs on the treadmill!

@kgirlhart Sorry you had disappointing weather for your vacation day.

I did manage to get up "early" this morning and exercise before I went into work. I walked one mile total for warm up and cool down, and did a run/walk for 5/1 min at 4.2-4.5/3.8, and finished at 4.6 mph. That totaled 31:26 min and 2.25 miles for an average pace of 13:58 min/mile. Avg HR was 132, with a max of 149 bpm. (The plan called for 45 min easy.)

@tarun_yadavA Honestly don’t know who a few of those people are but there were definitely a few surprises in there. For instance, I knew George W was a runner but I didn’t know he was that quick. When he was president you saw news of him running and promoting exercise for health, but he always seemed like a pretty casual runner. At least to kid me. Also, when I see things like Pam Anderson saying she didn’t train I wonder how much of it is false modesty. She wasn’t lightening quick by any means but her time wasn’t a walking pace either and a marathon is not one of those things most people can just go do. As the times got faster down at the end, it did make me feel better to see that a lot of those were races people ran in their teens and 20’s! Some of them were seriously fast!

@martaindale yeah didn't think Pres Bush would be that quick! Knew he was teetotal and ran - but a casual one, as you put it.
Will Ferrell though... Serial marathon runner and sub-4 too. That was the shocker. I mean he's not fat or anything, but he's definitely not athletic looking either.
Kevin Hart at 4h"06 - I mean he's ripped and all that. But also impressive.

Running tied together to 33 other people to form a human caterpillar sounds like a great race strategy!

Love the guys on both sides of the Victoria's Secret Angel model - she has their full attention! Of course if Ashton Kutcher or Ryan Reynolds were running beside me I would be looking their way also.
