Did Denise Austin Power Zone Toning Workout DVD and then a 30 Minute Express Above the Belt DVD then went for my walk. Just work and then ceramics tomorrow
I tell you, Vince IS NOT happy at all. He likes getting a physical newspaper delivered first thing in the morning. If it isn’t here by 8a.m. (when they guarantee it’ll be here) he sends them an email. Well, now they are just going to deliver 3 days/week and the other 4 you are to read it online. I admit, I don’t like reading on line as much, but I can live with it. Plus...now the paper will be delivered via the post office which will probably mean that it’ll be here later. Too bad….
Pip – loved the photo and you look so good. Can’t remember the last time I wore a dress. Oh, yes, it was for Denise’s wedding shower
Heather – isn’t it a royal pain when you are used to exercise and suddenly can’t do what you want to do?
I wonder if Vince is doing his PT exercises? He hasn’t mentioned them in a long time. What I’m going to do is he had one of my bands looped around the exercise bike’s handles for doing one of the exercises. I used the band this morning and when I put it back, I made one end shorter. I’ll see if he has to make it longer to make it so that both ends are even. Maybe he thinks he doesn’t have to do them since the last time he went to PT he said they did different exercises with him. I don’t know. But I do think he still needs the “tell me when you’re ready” (to go for a walk) and “why don’t we walk at least ½ way to that driveway?”
Made a pot of soup, washed the windows of my car then washed a few windows in the house. But that meant having to move all sorts of things to get at the windows.
Carla – I’m with you, I would much rather have seen Dianna as queen, even William as king. To me, Charles is so old, it would have been nice had he done whatever he needed to do to let William take over. At least William would have been king for quite a few years. I am not in favor of Camilla being queen or whatever she’s called (consort?). But like you, who am I?
Lisa – do you have a whole house fan? When we lived in the Poconos, I really loved it. The house would get so cool when the sun went down.
Oh, cr**, its started to rain. Looks like we can’t go for a walk tonight. Update: I went for a walk, Vince wanted to watch a race.
Rebecca – Love Athena’s Present
Allie – keep those pictures of Miles coming! Love looking at them

Evening ladies
Miles goes to sleep in his crib, but then wakes up and to not wake up Kyle Tracy brings him down to the couch and trys to nurse him back to sleep.
She herself didn't sleep through the night until she was 2..
I have sort of an x rated picture to share lol

Concert went well. I really do enjoy singing. The duet the Gift of Love made me cry.4
-
Kelly-great reunion you had!
Rebecca-you just do you. If you aren't in good space for the Navy wives group, you are not. You contributed for a long time. You will know if you need to go back or not when you are ready. Just work on healing.
No real news. Did this and that and relaxed today. Don't have autopsy results for DIL father yet. Got flight booked for late June to see the Phoenix crew. Flights have gone up. American is cheaper this time than Southwest.
Time to medicine on my foot and then head to bed. The compound seems to be helping-I wanted to just use it twice a day but the three or four permitted does do a better job. Have slept well the last couple of nights without the stupid foot nerve pain.
Take care all,

Rosemarie2972 wrote: »My closet has clothes of different sizes. A couple of years ago I was a size 18 and purchased capris from the North Style catalog. A few of these were print on the bottom with solid tops. I wore only black bottoms for years but started with print bottoms last year. Now the 18s are tight on me and I am trying to decide what to do. I need 1x's or size 20. The 18w's are too wide for my hips. All my weight is on my stomach. For church I wear black pants and a top. I seldom wear jeans or black jeans...too hot here in middle GA. I haven't worn a dress in over a decade.
I was planning to try Catherine's or maybe Torrid for size 20. Anyone have any idea where I can find size 20's?
Best,
Rosemarie from Georiga
I am the opposite of you- never wear jeans and only wear dresses/skirts for church and wear them othr times too- Just changed out of one after going to the wedding.
The place we are the same is the problem of stomach weight. I would be fine with the weight if I could get rid of half the belly.2 -
Machka - I have found shoe styles hard lately. I haven’t found any I really like. I can’t imagine if I had to have certain conditions met.
Pip - what a great picture!
Heather - I admire your use of Instagram, I follow you. I don’t believe I’ve ever posted on it, but I follow a few people. My daughter and her best friend just started a page called Bloomin’ Besties. It’s to showcase their new love of plants.
Lisa - I love your writing. Good luck with the week ahead
Kim - I can understand how that noise in the summer would get tiresome.
Michaela is the best at going to bed, her bedtime is 730 and she only makes it about 15 minutes past that before asking to go to bed. She thinks she’s pulling one over on us because she stayed up late.
I too, believe a gratitude journal helps immensely. I need to be more consistent with mine.
How wonderful to see your young boys as young men. What a treasure.
Annie - Maybe your laptop is too old with some of the specifications for the update?
Carla - this is the 3rd time I’ve seen Shania. I saw her in 94-94 when she was the opening act. I saw her in 2016 and now on Friday. I enjoyed parts of this concert, but there were times that the music was louder than her voice. It didn’t matter on her older songs, we all know the words, but her new album it was hard to know if you liked the meaning of the song.
She only had one costume change, but she will be 58 in August so I guess that’s fair.
Rebecca - I’m so excited for you to meet with Athena on Thursday! I think you and Lee are the perfect gift.
Beth - I had a friend that owned an asphalt company, I never saw them use rebar in a driveway for residential either. Maybe they just need to do something with the drainage under the driveway though. Good luck and I hope it’s not too pricy.
😂 our neighbours wouldn’t be surprised either. I hate even holding a board for DH to cut.
Rosemarie - a few years ago I learned to cast on with YouTube videos. It was wonderful! I learned knitting wasn’t for me though.
Allie - I hope Tracy learns soon that she shouldn’t have to tiptoe around Kyle. He decided to have a baby too, he should have known what he was getting in for with sleepless nights. I feel so bad for her. She not helping either of her children by putting up with this treatment.
Our daughter and her DH have 3 embryos being sent for testing. If you are the praying type please pray they are all healthy.
Michaela and I made a craft today, she decided to add pink to her rainbow even though she knows it’s not part of the rainbow. “Everything should have a touch of pink, Grammie”.
I am going to work tomorrow but calling my doctor about a doctors note. I am nervous doing this and almost panic stricken at the thought of going to work.
Debbie - how on earth did you end up on the floor at your Mother’s?

Well not only are we meeting Athena and parents at the zoo in Tacoma, I will ride home with them! She gets to take her present home!💖😁. I will stay over the weekend and into the next week, taking a train back home the 19th.💖
Rebecca
Excited!

We are having a sheet lightning dust and wind storm. I’ve never experienced anything like it. It is now raining, too. I am happy to be inside and dry. WOW! I hope the rain will improve air quality.

Went to the wedding(nice but oh, the toasts were LONG and many)- and finished catching up here.
Will try and keep this short as possible.(sorry, don't know how to do the spoiler)
Went to mom's for the weekend. My sister and one of my nephews(our other sister's middle child, from CO) were both there. He was there for two weeks, her just the weekend. She informs me that mom has decided to bury dad's ashes over the weekend. She never mentioned it to me,and would have missed it if I hadn't chosen to go up for part of the weekend. It rained pretty much all day so I joked that dad didn't want to be buried that day. Mom insisted and had my nephew dig the whole for his ashes and also for sisters fiance who passed away and whos ashes had been in the closet at mom's for the past 10 yrs almost. They buried them in the spot where my aunt, uncle and cousin are buried, like dad and mom had decided. Nothing said, just did it while mom and I pulled weeds around the area.
It was hard to be there for it but glad I was, even by accident.
Sister, who has a drinking problem anyways came to bed(we had to share mom's bed because nephew had the couch and room mate has my old room). Sister almost immediately starts talking/cussing/screaming/moaning/etc in her sleep. I wake her up a few times but it doesn't stop. I finally grabbed two blankets and my pillow and tell mom I will be sleeping on the floor in the office(hard wood floors, no rug). She said I could join them in the living room(no thanks- they both snore terrible, they stay up late with the tv LOUD, and I was exhausted after just under 4 hrs sleep the night before because of 3:45AM alarm to go help at the food program). SO, It was HARD and cold but at least the room was quiet.
Woke my sister up this morning and told her what she did- she laughed it off and kind of apolgized.
I won't be going up there again if anyone else is up there and I can't have a quiet place to sleep.
Went out, picked some asparagus to take home to go with the artichokes that were already picked, packed up and headed home.
Going to bed now, even though it is barely 8:30PM. Need good sleep for tomorrow- for my 5mile walk and one hour of Zumba , after working in the garden tomorrow morning beings son worked up the raised bed for me. Want to get the rest of my garden planted, especially the cucumbers.
Sorry- tried to keep it short as possible.
Good night-
Debbie

Copied this image off the Internet. Going to try and paint it as a present for my brother for his birthday!! Challenge!.
It's of our local beach huts. I think he might identify with the relaxing person! Might try to make it look more like him. I'm getting a bit too ambitious.

Hummingbirds returned, hooray! A little gray one with a white throat and an even smaller one with a glowing red throat. Joe heard them before we saw them at the feeders. Made us smile.
Raining again this evening and showers tomorrow are the last forecast rain for the next 10 days. We may have missed our burn barrel chance.
Beth prayer said for an easy extraction and quick recovery for your mom.
Annie my laptop’s hard drive just stared making a funny staticky noise. I dread replacing it as I am not a fan of either the cloud based Microsoft products nor of Apple.
Time to backup those files…
Ginny is the foot nerve pain compound a prescription?
Tracey yours to Allie about Kyle and Tracy. Truth. Prayer said for healthy embryos.
Rebecca Athena time will be the best medicine for you!
Debbie rough weekend. Hope you get some good rest.
Heather look forward to your pic of the beach huts. Admire you for continuing your art despite the broken wrist and sore ribs.

Welcome newbies and returnees! (((hugs))) to those who need them.
I hope you get to do that on Thursday, Rebecca. You definitely need some bows and ribbons in your life right now! LOL
I totally get removing yourself from those chats. I had to do that too after my "friends" turned on me. Of course, that was different, but I get it. It's really hard to see the names of people who make your heart hurt.
Unfortunately it really just has to be done, Allie. Kids wake up at night and the parents have to live through it. You get up, you peek in the door and let them know you're right there and "go back to sleep". The minute you pick them up, you're getting them in the habit of expecting that.
We made the same mistake with Anne, our youngest too. We put her to bed in her crib, but kept going in to quiet her so as not to wake up her sister. Didn't even THINK to move Lacy to our room for a short time to let Anne figure out how to get to sleep on her own. DUH! Once we did that, Anne slept through the night within two days. SUCCESS!
8. Set yourself a kindness mission and help others today... that's usually the plan at school.

The wind storm last night was a doozy. I have never seen so much dust in the air before. This morning it is quiet but visibility is poor with a gray sky.

My experience with a gratitude journal (I've been keeping one for decades) is that it causes me to focus on what is right with my world rather than what is wrong. It doesn't matter so much what I'm grateful for but matters that I am choosing gratitude as the focus for my life. During the day, I make a point of noticing things to be grateful for to deflect my brain from complaining about what is wrong around me.
I may be more entertaining to drone on and on about all the inequalities and suffering but it only drags me down. Talking about gratitude isn't as entertaining, but it is healthier and more cheerful.

Barbie—Gratitude is powerful and, as you said, is healthier and more cheerful. I like your point of view. ⭐️ 💖. 😊
