Today is a good day to climb a mountain with your children and have melons and raspberry tarts on top! Don’t forget to tell presidential jokes while up there! 😝

A couple of recent photos.
Edie concentrating on the sandpaper block she was using to make me a drinks mat.
We had such fun doing some ice cream experiments I had found in a magazine article.
1) Vanilla with olive oil and seasalt
2) Salted caramel with crispy bacon crumbles
3) Salted caramel with blue cheese crumbles.
She was disgusted with the cheese one, and violently spat it out! Olive oil was interesting and OK, but the bacon one was delicious! She had two portions, and then ate the rest of the bacon. We all enjoyed it.
She also brought over a cotton lawn quilt she had been given when she was a baby, and still sleeps with, but Bea managed to kick holes in it. She brought her sewing kit and said she was going to mend it. It is badly torn, the stuffing coming out, and very frail. I suggested we back the tears with iron on supporting fabric and then I will do my best to oversew it. So we ordered the iron on stuff from Amazon and it came yesterday. I have a big job on!
It's a long drive for Sue, who is 71, but she wanted to go to Fatto a Mano before she left. I gave them a head start for their walk, and got there on the dot of opening time by taxi. They had already arrived and bagged the exact table I wanted outside.
I am so grateful that she is able and willing to come all this way. She loves Brighton and Hove, so is happy to make the effort. The lasagne she brought was great, but I wasn't so keen on the salad dressing. We are having leftovers tonight.
Machka - Fantastic train trip! It got John and me talking about possible overnight train trips we might make sometime. There is one to Fort William in Scotland from London. And one to Cornwall. I love trains.
Vicki - Ouch! Hope you can quickly get some meds working on that!
Love to all, Heather UK xxxxxxxx

Annie: I had a terrible time keeping the battery of our disability van charged as we drove it less. The battery died at least 2x in the driveway. Then one day I had the yard man charge it and I was driving up and down the hills to get out of my subdivision. Well the battery died going up a hill. I barely made it to the side of the road. It took Triple AAA several hours to come and it was on a curve and I stood for several hours making sure traffic coming around the curve saw the van. Then when Triple AAA came they did not have a battery to sell me. So they charged the battery again and made sure I got home. I can't tell you how I got the van to the Toyota dealer to purchase a new battery. Maybe I had it towed. I can't even remember. I just know I was good and ready to sell the disability van! Enough was Enough!
Best,
Rosemarie from Georgia7 -
Rebecca – rock hard brownies dunked in milk are quite good actually
Lisa – I don’t sew much other than something straight. I used to sew a lot, but haven’t done much in quite a while. Those towel toppers look neat. I put frozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries) in yogurt, let the berries thaw and that makes a “juice” for mixing in the yogurt.
Took a walk around the neighborhood
The Corner Table has this canned food drive that they’re having this month. Each of the churches in the area are participating. They weigh your donation and credit that much to your tally. I picked up the donations from my church on Fri, took it to them, they weighed it and we had over 400 pounds. They’re collecting again so I need to see if I can pick up the donations on Tues after work and then take them to the soup kitchen to be weighed or wait until Fri when I go there anyway.

I was able to chat with him yesterday, (his birthday) and he said the newer box wasn't too bad. I told him to dampen a paper towel, wrap them and microwave them for a sec or two. Like they just came outta the oven, (well hopefully)!
He's doing good, just work, sleep repeat these days. He does get an hour when he can, to play a computer game he enjoys, but that's about it. Sailors lead a physically taxing, and mentally draining life.💖⚓🇱🇷

Hello, my chickadee-dee-dees...
Been a lovely, rainy, cool day, at least what I've seen of it! Back to sleep at 9 a.m. and up again at noon to snag a little lunch. Corey loves the lemon tart I made last night--I had a tiny sliver of it before I napped out and it was sooooo rich. Not my bag, but don't mind making it for him at all.
The rain's moving off as I speak and hopefully taking my sinus headache with it. Been struggling with those for days. Maybe rain again in the morning, and will be driving into town to get a poo sample to the lab and have them draw blood as well, at the request of the gastroenterologist. Results should prove interesting. Hopefully everything will show improvement. I certainly feel improved.
Well, other than the headache.
Heather - always good to see Edie's beautiful little face. I loved sending my husband and my best friend and her DH off for a train trip through the Ozark mountains, but the movement combined with the flickering light through the trees here makes me yurky. 🤢 Survived one of those little excursions, but declined the same trip five years later! 👀🤣 Looks like lovely fun with Sue, as well.
Machka - Always good to see you posting again. You're part of our even keel here, dear heart, and a voice I always look for.
Allie - Good to see Miles' little face concentrating on his PlayDoh. 🥰 The good thing is that every pound you can lose through your diet will make it easier and easier to get moving as soon as you're able. You'll get there! Proud of you, darlin'.
Rita - Sorry about the sinus infection!
That's about all the info that stuck. Hope everyone's having a reasonably peaceful Sunday. Time for some TV and a little crochet...
Love y'all,

Kirby had booked a flight with this airline because of the price being so cheap. It said you needed to print your ticket 24hours before your flight, if they did it at the airport you would be charged a fee. He was trying but couldn’t find where to print it. When he got a rep on the phone after being on hold for awhile the rep said he was trying to print the ticket too early, his flight was at 9:30PM, he swore that it was for AM. He was pissed and wanted to cancel the trip. We were going back and forth and he could reschedule, go and take an Uber to the hotel (we usually walk) or go on another airline regardless of price and just go. I didn’t talk to him and just kept cleaning. Later, he sensed my disappointment and wanted a hug and I told him no, he asked why not, I told him I was disappointed in him for not wanting to go. I told him if it was my flight he would do everything possible for me to go anyway. He said didn’t cancel the flight, so he booked an Uber and his trip is back on.7 -

I got back to NW WA last night. Ella and I came home almost two months early because my sister has some medical appointments. I am so far behind but will gradually catch up. Hope everyone had a good spring and is enjoying summer. I had a good time and am glad to be home. I plan to rest up.

Vicki: Waves of healing energy whooshing your way.
Rita: Hope you shed that cruddy infection soon.
Machka: I am so inspired by that railroad journey. Would you recommend it for a single female traveller?
Tracey: Congratulations on the offer. Bravo on the work you are doing on the table and chairs. That story is amazing and I hope your kids will keep passing it on.
Lisa: Your crafting bug is infectious. I'm thisclose to pulling out my crochet hook to experiment with a vintage pattern for a beaded scarf made from thread.
Not alot going on for me this week. A good friend is getting a hip replacement tomorrow and will spend 2 nights with her DS and DDIL. She has set that as her limit for being cared for by them. Entry to her condo is up a long stairway, so I am making myself available to pop over and check on her needs and progress in person.
I'm also in the hunt for a reasonable package to Phuket, Thailand this November. If anyone has recommendations, PM me, please. I see plenty on Expedia which fit my budget, but don't want to book until I've explored more options.
Stay well, friends. We can do this.

Bahahahaha! Part of my evil plan... a crafting pandemic to sweep the world. I could carry the metaphor further, but will spare you. 🤣👀🐿️ If it's helpful, here are the headbands I've been working on during my very few hours awake today! Had yet another few hours napping on the couch in the living room. Just a bit of payback for the very early wakeups the last few days.

Thanks to those who sent well-wishes for my brother. He is slightly better today. He has been in a lot of pain. Once he gets over this hernia operation, it will be time for knee replacement, one knee at a time. After that, he ought to be all fixed up.
Nobody commented on my comment about the Thursday Murder Club coming to Netflix. Did the fans of the book miss my post? I didn’t recognize most of the actors mentioned, but Pierce Brosnan is supposed to play Ron.
6 -
Kay - Good to hear your brother is doing better, slow but sure. My belly button hernia was teensy and it was just fat poking through. Your brother's sounded a lot more involved. You missed my comment on the Thursday Murder Club. Hope it's as good as the books - Pierce Brosnan as Ron? Nice! I may have to sign up on Netflix for a month or so. I just looked it up. Also Ben Kingsley, Helen Mirren and some others. It's bound to be good. Sounds like it's currently in production in the UK so might be a few months out.
Rori - you world traveler you! Would N be going to Thailand at the same time by any chance? Best of luck finding a good flight.
Vicki - hope there's medication that takes care of your problem quickly, and it's not too painful or irritating. I put new bright LED bulbs in the bathroom vanity fixture this morning (it takes 8 of them!) and probably spent 10 minutes checking out spots and wrinkles on my bod I'd never seen before. Nothing suspicious jumped out, but gravity sure has been taking a toll.
Betsy - welcome home. We missed ya! Best wishes to your sis as she goes through testing again.
Debbie - hope the show went well. Are the fires out in your and your mom's area?
Annie - and yet another car battery comment, lol. I have one of those trickle chargers Barbie posted and it worked great on DH's old Camry he rarely drove. When I finally took it in for an oil change, the mechanic tested the battery and said it still had a lot of life left in it. The battery on DH's truck was shot, however, and finally not even the trickle charger could put life back into it.
I now hook up that charger to the tractor if I anticipate it's going to be started and moved, takes a few days to get it juiced up.

Was it Barbie who introduced me to James Clear? Thank you! From this week’s message {about smart people finding reasons not to do X) “…But there will always be reasons to not do something, and this is particularly true of anything worth doing. We value those moments in which we overcame challenge, not those in which we avoided it. Ultimately, action is a choice. The choice to emphasize the reasons for doing it despite the reasons you have for avoiding it.” Needed to see this.
Lisa Joe has suggested Moosey as an alternative, I’ve caught myself calling him Moochie (and sometimes in my mind accidentally “Gino.” Suspect that’s part of the healing he’s bringing.) “Here’s to joy!” Indeed! Those bags are incredible. My spatially challelnged brain can not even figure out how to sew ticking into a new pillow shape.
Tracey Rejoicing at the details of the offer. So very well deserved. Well done!!! And WOW what good work on that treasured table. Bet all that sanding was a good upper body workout too! Thank you for sharing some of the table’s tales. Wow for the appendix story. Keep ‘em coming!
Annie ((hugs)) Consulting with your sister about the car and how to deal with your dad, sounds like a good idea. ((hugs)) your “no police, no hospital so its not a bad day, just a challenge.” Brava!
Machka the Coast-to-coast story, especially your “enforced” relaxation. Well done! So glad you’re considering other trips. Do it while you can!
Lanette some of the hawkbits have gone to seed, then others pop up. Most of the dandelions are done. Evergreen blueberries are abundant despite ravages by the quail. Scarce salal berries but that’s ok, Tumble and Shadow are the only ones who like them . Any chance those young muscular guys would split those logs for you? The logs our power company guys left were too heavy for me to move so there they sit…
Beth I’ve always wanted to take the train across Canada, especially the Canadian Rockies. Every time I see you post I hope a space has opened up for your mom. Here’s our new pack. Looks like I intended to post it earlier but then forgot ;}
Left to right, Tumble 9 yo Skye Terrier, Moosey 6 yo Doodle, Shadow 5 yo GSD/whatever big black dog you like best, maybe flatcoat.
Rosemarie so sorry to hear Covid got you. ((hugs))
Debbie  Staying far from your MIL is a good idea, wish your DH could too. Good luck at the show.
Belated welcome @mmfromkc MM from the Midwest!
Michele TransSiberian railway is not one I’d want to risk ;}
Vicki ((hugs)) Could stress be a factor? Hope the treatment is swift and successful.
Rita your daily food pics are inspiring, and making me hungry!!!
Heather the ice cream experiments made me laugh out loud. the pic, Sue and Johnny’s smiles, what a resemblance. Sorry the Royal Highlander from London to Inverness is no more  That overnight trip was one of the highlights of my UK trip in the seventies.
Pip “No” hug? Oooh you are soooo strict! ;}
Betsy welcome home!
Rori does that mean you might be meeting up with Machka? You go, gal!
Kay I saw the post but haven’t read the Thursday Murder club books yet. Pierce Brosnan? Now THAT’s motivating…
gratitudes:
Today’s: Tumble joined in Shadow’s and Moosey’s game of chase. At first she was aggressive, but as they ran around, her expression shifted from irritation to enjoyment. Moosey is going to be good exercise for her
Yesterday’s: went out on the deck this misty moisty morning and spotted the first (!) tomato blossoms in the hanging basket. At this rate we might have cherry tomatoes by Hallowe’en. Also grateful for our working oven, sorry Michele ;} Now to google If ”loose knobs” are a known issue and if so how to fix. [sigh]
At homeFirst evening, Moose seemed a little agitated so I let him out into the yard where he peed for a very, very long time. Couldn’t see the stream, sure hope no trouble with his plumbing. After a peaceful night, and first attempt at tummy time/stay, leashed Moose up and joined Joe, Tumble and Shadow on the stroll to the powerline meadow. Joe was amazed that they all lay down and “stayed” together (well almost). Pic here.I think Joe’s besotted. Me2.
When I left for BB&B and line dancing, Joe said Moose didn’t like that I left, went to door and window and door again looking worried. He sure didn’t need any training to join the pack for “Welcome home, Mama!” cookies. He sat right down when asked and waited his turn.
Bought a slicker brush and brushed his head, he tolerated it well. Next are the ears, then legs, then belly, then body, then start all over again! Made appointments for grooming (shearing, trim, bath) and first well pet exam. Shadow has settled down completely and Tumble only gives a warning growl when Moosie tries to get between her and where she wants to be.
Yes, “Moosey.” Joe really didn’t like the name, said it was like calling a dog “Cat”, but suggested “Moosey” as an acceptable alternative. Fine with me. We haven’t let him off leash on the property except for brief “WAIT” and “STAY” practices at the powerline meadow. He loves to walk on leash. Soon as he sees it, he sits so I can hook it to his collar, wriggling his whole body in excitement. Yet, he doesn’t pull at all, truly a dream to walk. W really did well with him. Moosey is a bed dog. Shadow is too, sometimes, so we’ll be plenty warm this winter. Tumble prefers the cool floor.
Joe likes Moosey’s bark, his full uncropped tail, his engagement, his alertness, how he watches everything, how he “poses” with one paw up, thinks he’s a good watchdog, calls him “good puppy” all the time.

Lanette - it’s good they’ll leave some trees for you. I hope you find the chain.
I put my dad’s black onyx signet ring he had given to my daughter up “for safekeeping” 20 some years ago and still haven’t found it. I truly believe one of my other daughter’s friend at the time had sticky fingers.
I’ve looked for one since to replace it for her.
Machka - what is considered mid-August? It’s close here.
Annie - I hope the situation with your dad’s car gets sorted soon.
It’s a headache you don’t need.
Heather - it’s so nice to see your happy smiles. It sounds like a lovely weekend.
I bet Edie will cherish that quilt once you have repaired it.
Lisa - when I was little I remember sitting on my grandmother’s lap while she rocked me and sang a song about the chickadees. When Lauryn was little I asked her what the words were so I could sing it at bedtime. She had no idea what I was talking about and admitted that she probably made it up as she went along. I didn’t have that talent and it was important to me to know the words of the song so Lauryn’s lullaby was The Gambler by Kenny Rogers. 😂
We need a really good few days soak here too, but I need it to wait until next weekend.
Pip - glad Kirby is still going.
Rori - I think my granddaughter for sure would love this table. We’ve done a lot of crafting on it her and I.
Hope you find the perfect trip.
Katie - I meant to ask what The Thursday Murder club is?
Barbara - it sounds like Moosey is fitting right in. You sound so happy.
I sanded my chairs today, but didn’t get much else accomplished.
I overslept this morning and slept through Rodger calling me. I don’t know how, but he was worried and about to head home when I wasn’t answering. Instead of saying he was worried though he had to be a bit of a jerk about it.
After supper we went for a drive to get some wood for Rodger to work with.
I hope to get up earlier tomorrow so I can go buy primer and another can of paint. Not what I was intending, but when I change my mind I have to expect to spend some money. I want to get the paint done on the chairs early tomorrow so I can then tape off to do the staining maybe tomorrow evening at latest Tuesday morning.
I’m anxious to see it all come together.
The grands are coming for a sleepover one night this week. Their parents are going to see Deadpool & Wolverine.

Barbara - Lovely to see your troop come together! Although every time someone on here mentions animals on the bed, it makes me shudder. When we had cats, when i was a child, they were shut in the hall and kitchen at night. They could get outside through the window (UK cats go outside at will). I think it is less common in the UK to have dogs on the bed.
Sounds like Moosey is very intelligent and highly trainable. I'm not a dog lover, but have a soft spot for a well-trained dog. I love watching sheep dogs on the TV. Or guide dogs.
One of the loves of my life as a child was my Seal Point Siamese, Oscar. He was a kind of cat/dog and would enjoy long conversations.
John and Sue are not biologically related. He was adopted first, then a brother and her came along naturally. There is 8 years between them. The brother lives in Australia.
Katie - I saw your comment, but I usually hate films of books I like. The actors are all extremely well known and distinguished over here. I think they are still shooting, so it will be a while.
I've been enjoying the books by another well-known TV and radio personality, Richard Coles. The third book, Murder at the Monastery, kept me going at night while I was recovering from my surgery. The series is getting better. The 'hero' is a priest/vicar, who finds himself unwillingly falling in love with his policeman friend.
Tracey - Fabulous job on that table! Could you paste the story underneath the table, along with an explanation of the marks? You really do need to get on with that family history! Or, could you turn your story into a novel?
I looked up prices and info for the long overnight railway trips in the UK. I am not keen on bunks at my age, but could go for two adjoining singles. There is no in compartment toilet for those, but there is a washbasin! John doesn't seem as keen as me, but I will leave it to ferment in his brain.
Love Heather UK xxxxxxxx5 -
Barbara - The Caledonian Express divides at Edinburgh into three portions, one to Inverness! One to Dundee, and one to Fort William. From Fort William/Mallaig you can get the ferry to Skye. I'm still mulling the whole idea over. Of course, there is the Scottish weather to contend with!
The Cornish Riviera overnight train doesn't do proper dinners, just snacks and drinks in the lounge. It leaves late, so you can eat beforehand. Breakfast is included.
If you go to the website, Man in seat 61, you can vicariously read a whole exposition of all the long distance trains in the world. All the details.
https://www.seat61.com/sleeper-to-cornwall.htm
I love vicariously travelling and staying in wonderful places. I am so enjoying luxury hotel stays in 'Walk With Me Tim' on YouTube. Any frustrated travellers can stay in the best 5 star hotels anywhere, and realise some of them are not all they are cracked up to be. It makes me realise what fabulous value our Saga cruises are.
If I were to choose a London hotel, it would be Claridges. Impeccable.
It keeps me happy and occupied during this long recovery. I have been more or less laid up since March. A little comfort watching is no bad thing!
Wound check and bandage removal today. Hooray! I managed to sleep on my front for a bit last night. Double hooray!

Up bright and early this morning. The thunderstorms last night did little to dissipate the heat lol 😅 and there’s not a breath of wind. Upper 20sC is tame compared to what some of you are reporting, so I’m grateful for that!
Barbara: 🥰 James Clear. The weekly newsletter is a great motivator.
Kay: Pleased to know that your brother is recovering.
Lisa: You’re like the energizer bunny 😂 It sure kicked my **** into gear on my crochet.
Vicki; Rita: Healing energy winging over the ocean to you both.
Betsy: Welcome back. It’s good that you had a good time.
Annie: I have to regularly take my car for a drive to keep the battery sweet. I mostly do short town runs, so a nice little scenic jaunt is a welcome change.
Heather: Pleased that your outing worked out. Positive vibes for a healthy wound. Are you allowed to shower yet?
Planning to get working on my crochet. I have the pieces all, laid out on the dining room table, and am working through sewing it together. I had to adapt it a little as it was going to be too long.

Woohoo! Woke up to rain... 🌦️ and it's supposed to keep going until noon. Just what this land needs right now, a long, slow soak. Love it.
Unless it's just coming down in sheets, will probably drive into town anyway and get my labs done. It's an option to wait until the afternoon, but rather it's done and over by 8:30 so I can get on with my day. The stinky part is already collected, double-bagged and ready to go, so best done quickly!
It will also make me take a shower this morning, too, so that's no bad thing. I've found that I put off taking a shower as long as I can these days... possibly because it's kind of a one-action thing. Can't do anything else while my head is under the water? 🤪 Who knows! Didn't say I was rational about it. I do draw the line at skipping more than one day.
Terri - On the Energizer Bunny thing, I'm definitely in "make hay while the sun shines" mode, I know. 😊 It's such an incredible feeling to have the same energy I had for so much of my life back--didn't know how much I missed it, in fact, in all the years of tired and sick. Absolutely reveling in it, I must admit. 😁🐿️👀 To the point that it's making Corey feel tired and slow.
Barbara AHMOD - So pleased things are going well with your curly-haired boy. He's just lovely... and Shadow and Tumble both look pleased in that picture, too. How about Mooseberry, if you want to keep that "moo" sound at the front, or Gooseberry and call him Goosie? Or Dude?
Betsy - It's soooo good to see your face. Hope your sister's appointments are routine and that she's doing well. Thought of you often. Did you have a good early summer in Alaska?
Corey's almost through his morning routine... time for me to wave him off to a slow morning at work, after rain yesterday and now again, but it will give him time to fix anything the guys broke over the weekend. And they always break something over the weekend, bless him.
My usual Monday morning chores are up first - get my meds sorted out, laundry, dishes. Won't start anything big like floors, since I'm running into town.
Hope it's a good week for everyone,
Love from Arkansas,
Lisa

He did really well ... I was impressed. There was only one meltdown just before our flight back to Hobart from Sydney.
We make use of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program which helps. For the most part transportation staff were really good.

What is the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower?
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a simple tool for you to voluntarily share that you have a disability or condition that may not be immediately apparent – and that you may need a helping hand, understanding, or more time in shops, at work, on transport, or in public spaces.@Makcha I loved your website and the train trip! I used to have one too, but didn’t want the expense any more so took it down.

I've had mine for 20 years but changed providers a few years ago and then switched to using WordPress. It needs a lot of work which I will get to ... one day.Snowflake1968 wrote: »Machka - What is your commute like now, I hope a lot less for you.

My previous commute was 35-45 minutes on the bus one way. They way in wasn't too bad, but I was finding the return trip more and more difficult because I was always nauseated for some reason, and about 90% of the time, it was so hot on board that I would arrive home dehydrated and exhausted. They told me that they kept it at 22°C, which is too hot for me but I would have tolerated that, however, when I brought a thermometer on board, it frequently showed between 25° and 30°C. That meant I had no energy to exercise, or do much of anything, in the evenings.
My current commute is about a 15-20 minute drive (depending on traffic), a 5 minute walk, and a 10 minute bus ride one way now. So it's not a lot less time than the previous commute but so far, it's more comfortable. No nausea. No sweltering heat.
Plus, the commute method I've chosen now is one option of several and I may explore some other options over the months.Snowflake1968 wrote: »Machka - what is considered mid-August? It’s close here.

August 16th.
Which, given what we have left to do, feels like minutes away.LisaInArkansas wrote: »Machka - Always good to see you posting again. You're part of our even keel here, dear heart, and a voice I always look for.

Thank you, LisaMachka: I am so inspired by that railroad journey. Would you recommend it for a single female traveller?

and already missing the Olympic games
There were two single female travellers in our section of the train, so yes! The Indian-Pacific had Gold Twin and Gold Single option.
There were lots of couples, but there were a few families and singles as well. When I say "families", there is a minimum age limit. I think kids had to be at least 16 or 18 ... no young children.
Each person could choose whether or not to go on the excursions and in a couple places we could choose which excursion we wanted. For a single person, that would be a great way to see things ... going with a somewhat familiar group and having a tour guide making sure that everyone is back on board the excursion buses.

My view this morning (and yesterday) This is my sister's place. I LOVE IT! She now has a great group of friends here in the community which is awesome. For the longest she and her husband were the youngest members by 20-30 years! We spent lest evening floating in the water with her friends drinking and sharing. It was awesome!
After her graduation with her MBA. I need to make sure the family shares the rest of pictures with me. It has been a great trip. I am so proud of all she and her dh have accomplished.
I drove my Miata down. Top open about 5 hours then hit rain. Still fun though!
My kittens and DH are doing well. I left him with lunches and dinners prepared. He has been busy with new garage details. It will be nice to be home tonight though.
On page 13....trying to catch up. The sun just popped over the mountain and the fish are jumping!
Carol Don't overdo things, but I know that getting some independence back is a plus.
Flea Congrats on independence for son! My oldest grandson tests on the 13th.
Happy Monday! Family all woke up and we got busy on Saturday. They tried to convince me to stay until Sunday, but I explained compromise to my lovely SIL. DH wanted to go to a car show on Sunday. Anyway, we spread our Aunt's ashes before I left. Was only on road 20 mins when got caught behind a bad accident. Leaving later than planned, accident, rain so top up, sunshine so top down, fuel, then top up cause it got too cold, home at 1230am on Sunday. Went to Indiana for car show. One top 50 award in our class (1973-newer) and over 450 cars.
All in all great time! 6 states in less than 24 hours. Fun but tiring!
Kittens were happy I was home.
Back to work, ugh....grateful I have a job that I usually enjoy though.
Machka The trip looked wonderful!
Tracey Love the table and Congrats on job!
Rosemarie I too struggle with feeling unseen/unheard especially with family. My sister and sister in law are strong personalities. You are not alone.
I know there was more but have to get ready for work. I haven't even unpacked yet!
Healing thoughts continue for those needing them.
Encouraging each journey!
Lots of love,

Good morning beautiful ladies!
Barbie and Lanette thanks for the reminder that I could buy a device to help with the battery. I didn't think of that, probably because I got caught up in being annoyed. Thanks!
Pip glad you got Kirby over his frustration with the trip. Travel vendors seem to assume that we do it all the time and know all the tricks.
Betsy welcome back!
Rori Thailand! So exotic and exciting!
Barbara your pack looks happy!
And Kay I have always liked Pierce Brosnan. I may have to take a look!
I have bills to pay today. I put them aside in a baggie so Dad wouldn't mess them up, but now I hope I haven't waited too long.
Have a great day! May you all be happy, healthy, safe and free!
