Ouch. Had a big dinner out last night so this is likely a short term blip. At my house we are still in party mode because of birthdays but that will be done next week.

Not entirely sure I believe it but I did step on the scale twice. Keto baked 'oatmeal' in the oven and lunch/dinner prelogged. Work is light but steady so I can get ins some movement throughout the day. Dishwasher issues yesterday but we think we figure it out, fingers crossed.1 -

I am bloated, so this could be hormonal - with intermittent cycles, I have no idea; there's nothing to track to know what is going on cycle-wise. Today is day 2 of shoveling (shoveled yesterday for an hour), and we will see where this is tomorrow.
@capewrathultra I hope everything is ok with your family member.
It's great to see everyone posting! I hope you're all having a good start to the week! Those of you digging out from snow, stay warm and be safe out there.1 -

Feeling much improved yesterday and today. Drinking a ton of lemon water right now.. Vitamin C to try to keep my immune system up.
My walking pad for under my desk FINALLY arrived today so I have to go get it at the Post office . I can't wait to have this option .
I have a regular treadmill but its in our shop/gym which is not attached to the house and no internet out there which leaves me with only lunch and after work hours to get my steps in.Trying to shoot for 10K steps every day. I do still go for short 10 minutes walks with the dogs a couple times a day during my work day but there is alot of snow/ice right now.. which to be honest doesn't motivate me much to stay outside long.
Long winter bleak days make it hard to stay active!4 -

think I have a case of the winter blues. My energy has been pretty zapped, motivation is in the tank.
Yesterday didn't have enough energy to even think about any form of exercise so I called it a rest day. Sometimes we need to listen to our body I guess.
I now have my under desk walking pad set up so looking forward to giving that a spin during the workday today .
Have a great day everyone

Alright. 6lbs the first week. I'll take it. It was a good week. I was under every day and didn't miss it or feel the loss much. However I did have a lot of salt heavy foods, so I'm sure that wasn't great. I'm working in priorizing protein and fresh veggies.
I hope this week I can make it to the gym. I've been meaning to get a membership to the YMCA (my only gym within a 45 minute driving distance of me) but things just keep coming up where I haven't had a moment to go to the gym to sign up. I really want to work on building some muscle as well as losing fat and getting stronger and not just ending up "skinny fat".4 -
Fun Post
Hey everyone I saw someone post this on a FB group I am part of and thought I would share here.
Utilizing ChatGPT you can put in the following and get some nice guidance. Adust as you see fit.
I am (insert height) I currently weight ____ and I am ____ year old female/male. My goal is to get to (insert weight goal in lbs) while losing fat and building muscle. Acting as a body composition expert create a meal plan that compliments my goal of getting to (insert weight goals) and building lean muscle. Include high protein recipes and snack ideas. Can you also place this in a table format? Could you also provide a 4 day workout plan to help me meet my goal weight of (insert weight) and limit it to 30 minutes .3 -

I have not been hitting my 1600 calories consistently the last week , yesterday only managed to get to 1300 but my protein was over 100.. so I guess that part is good.
I am cautiously optimistic on the slow scale drops.. if I get back to 1600 calories consistently, I suspect I will be back up to the in the 174 stuck weight..
Update on the walking pad
Overall, I love it. ββββ
The good:- Made getting 10K steps MUCH easier yesterday.
- Hopped on three times while still being able to get some work done.
- Easy to move around when I am done having it under my desk.
- So convenient.
The Not so Good
I don't think I can easily do busy work while trying to walk , even at a slow pace. its a short track and no side rails. Apparently, I can't chew gum and walk at the same time. I kept slipping off the back if I got too focused on my work while trying to walk, which could be a bit dangerous. I nearly fell once. That is the last thing I need!
So I can walk during meetings and more easily hop on for breaks while still staying aware of messages that come in and not be totally in the dark in my garage gym with no internet
Overall worth the investment so far.4 -

Hi everyone
Been away again, unplanned this time. Mother in law had a stroke. Sheβs 96. At her home and having end of life care. So a goodbye visit from me I think.
Not really focussed on food. Just tried to keep drinking water. Iβm back home now. 137 today.0
