Today was bloodwork day - had my full panel done plus my pregnancy test (for the provera to jump start my cycle).....halloween was awesome, even if it did get a little raunchy. My neighbours all crowded onto the driveway and we had a big bonfire going.....somehow someone suggested vandalising our next door neighbours inukshuk (stone man)......let's just say someone gave up their undies and we had a left over cucumber and someone else grabbed the duct tape and the sparkly belt......LOL I was taking pics of the get up and they came out and we all had a good laugh.....LOL This was well after the trick or treaters (and there was no alcohol involved....LOL) Overall it was a spectacular night....good company, good fun, good candy! Happy Hallowe'en, back to the normal world tomorrow....

    LOL sounds like fun!

Hey all--life is crazy busy--but instead of just stalking two boards, I thought I'd pop in and say hi since someone asked! (Awww, thanks.) Tomorrow is our sonogram--here's hoping everything looks good! Keep the fingers and toes and all other crossable parts crossed! We've told our parents and some siblings and a few friends who were part of our support system on this fertility roller-coaster, but we'll probably keep it hush hush for a while longer from the larger population. I'm dealing with some not-so fun early pregnancy symptoms--nothing horrid, just not much fun chasing an almost-3 year old. But no spotting, and I'm determined that I"m not going to complain--I have too much to be grateful for. As my husband puts it "I'm sorry you have to go through this, but I"m glad you are."

I'll let you all know how the sono goes tomorrow...I'm so excited and yet very very anxious...as if that helps!

Dexters- Looks like a BFP to me! From what I've read all you need is a faint line--you can't have any line unless you have the pregnancy hormone. Good luck with the blood test!

cutmd- If you're going to drive yourself crazy to wait week, I don't think it can hurt to test tomorrow and hope for no CP.

AFM- Still waiting for everything to get back to normal after coming off BC. I'm a week "late" (though it's been so long since I've had a normal cycle I'm not sure how close to 28 days I'll be), but I took a test this morning and still nothing (not a bit shock after the first 5 tests came back negative :blushing: ).

    Congrats Dexters!

Here I am excited because I'm on CD29 and feeling vague premenstrual cramping like maybe I'm actually going to have a normal-length cycle. Having a 29 or 30 day cycle would certainly be nice because it is going to drive me crazy if I have to wait through a 40+day cycle all the time.

    Hello November!

Dexter- Congrats girl! So happy for you!!

Welcome to all the new ladies.

Pam- sounds like a fun night!

Pixie- Take it easy. Hope you feel better soon!

Emily- I'm the same way about testing early. I probably took a hpt every month before I started trying to pay more attention to my body and track my cycles a little better. I feel the same way about God having a different plan then I have on getting pregnant again. My SIL had a terrible MC this summer and we had just started trying again when we found out. So part of me feels like maybe God will let us get pregnant when she'll be okay with it. And I'm okay with that, I don't want her to be hurt by it. IMHO.

Karen- Good luck with everything!!! Can't wait to hear how your sonogram goes! Hopefully we'll all be joining you on the pregnancy board soon!!!

AFM- Had a pretty good time taking LO out last night. Spent this morning trying to clean my bathroom and kitchen. Which I have almost decided is pointless with a toddler. What's the point in cleaning when I have a tornado baby following right behind me?!?! LOL! Now I'm feeding my face with her candy. In my head I'm doing her a favor. Need to work on my self control!!!!

    Week 3: 249.1

    Weight lost for challenge: 5.8lbs

    For the next 3 weeks:

    - Drink at least 9 glasses of water a day, should add lemon slices to half of them
    - First drink of the day should be hot water and lemon at least 3 mornings of the week

    2. Medications & Naturopathy - did the first two perfectly again, didn't get tot he second two
    - Take all my pills everyday as directed
    - Take my multivitamin, folate supplement, chromium supplement daily at least 6 times a week
    - Take my 1 tsp of ACV before at least 2 of my meals daily in a glass of water
    - Try to practice oil pulling at least 2 times a week

    3. Food: - could have done better, but I was definitely okay
    - Stay under sugar goals at least 6 days a week
    - Make sure to keep protein/carb balance at 50% every day
    - Stay under fat goal at least 3 days a week
    - At least 5 F&V 5 days a week

    4. Exercise: - I boxed on my Wii for 10 minutes and I spent around 4 hours doing things outside on Sunday, but other than that....but it's a start
    - Swim Club on Thursdays, 45 minutes
    - Dog for walk at least 3 times a week, 30 minutes
    - Biggest Loser Game on Wii at least 2 times a week, 20 minutes
    - Boxing on Wii, at least 2 times a week, 5 minutes
    - 5 minutes of stretching at least 5 times a week

    5. Mental: - Did this!! And with different friends....so GOOD
    - 5 minutes of meditation (guided or otherwise), 5 times a week
    - Spend at least an hour during the week chatting with friends in person

    How's everyone else coming along??

i have already checked that board, but ill keep checking this board too

I m not buttering or anything for the sake of saying it "so far this the only board of MFP I have seen, where everybody is so much supportive and shows empathy coz we can understand each other" may be i have said that earlier too.
