Water was at 80-still struggling to get to 100 regularly. Veggies no problem at 5. Did my 25 jj and 2 sets of 21's. Bought a new coat today, down 2 full sizes and in RED! I think it looks pretty good if I do say so myself. (Hubby said so too, and he never pays compliments!)

Let's keep it up!! We have all been doing great this week -- water is good, everyone's been eating their Fruits and Veggies, we've been doing our 21's and Jumping Jacks!!! Kudos to all of you -- these aren't easy, but you've persevered and we've ALL made contributions!! So far, our total is over 1500 and I'm still waiting to hear from several of you for today!! WOO HOO!!!

Don't forget to PM me your weight, JJ's, and 21's for Saturday by early afternoon -- I need to get it all organized and turned in to MM before 6PM Eastern so we don't incur penalties! Weigh in the morning, then work out -- I'm going to assume we are all eating our fruits and veggies on Saturday!!
    :drinker:

I'm actually excited to weigh in tomorrow -- I'm pretty sure I've busted this plateau -- weighing in at the doctor's office today was FUN!!!

Weight is 220 today-down another 2 lbs. It's early in the AM, but I know I will get at least 80 oz of water (don't feel as well if I don't!), will do my jj (at least 25) and 21"s. Home today, so good meals planned-should get at least 5 f/v in today. Got 2 already!

Hope everyone else had a good week!

    did not lose anything...actually gained a lb....up to 203....better week next week=)
  • Sat report:

    Will get in:

    Water 104 oz at least
    f/v: 3
21s: 42 (make up for yesterday)
JJs: 84 (make up for yesterday and then some!)

Weight up .4 lbs to 182.4. Two steps forward, one step back. A couple of major changes announced at work this week. Now I see they are for the good of the group but it was stressful until the announcements were made. Want to do a better job eating healthfully even when life is stressful-makes it easier to handle.

Did anyone else find the challenges.... not so challenging? Had a harder time pushing myself to do them. Time for me to find the motivation within!

    GO TEAM WAIST REMOVERS! :flowerforyou:

By now I think you've all heard -- I had a great week!! Busted that stupid plateau wide open!!!! WOO HOO

Down 3.8 lbs this week =) These are exciting numbers... I'm only 6 lbs away from my all-time lowest weight since HIGH SCHOOL!!! Kind of hard to imagine -- weighing less than when I was a teenager!! I already fit clothes that are a size smaller than I wore when I graduated from HS -- difference between muscles and flab!!

Ok, enough about me!! I'm missing today's info from MarchelleLynne, but that is all that we are waiting for. If I don't have it in time, I'll still send the data to MM so the rest of us aren't "late".

As a team, we have all eaten our fruits/veggies (if our sweet ML eats 4 or more today!); we have all completed our 21's (either on the right day or made up on other days) and we have completed over 2000 JJ's!! If you missed a day but completed more on another day, I split the totals to show that you did them everyday -- we're allowed make-up days!!

EVERYONE contributed to the 2000+ JJ total, but our team Queen of the Jacks is pkiddy, who completed 600 jumping jacks this week!! WAY TO GO!!!

We had a couple of ladies gain a bit, but overall we have lost more than 5 lbs!!!! Nice work ladies!! I don't know what next week's challenges will be, but if they are "light" then we'll need to come up with our very own team challenge to motivate us all to work a bit harder -- we don't want to lose ground with the holidays coming up!!

I like the team challenge idea too. the first week, getting all that walking in really made me push myself... doing JJ's and 21's didnt push me so much. and now that i have a gym to go to i'm game for "almost" anything. Can't wait to see what next week holds.
    Yay team Waist Removers!!!

i would like to see a weight challenge...like doing a weightlifting exercise to failure....for example maybe doing bicep curls to the point that you cant do them anymore....or maybe have a step-up challenge......who can do the most step-ups.....or maybe a timed challenge, like how many bench dips can you do in some many min.....just some suggestions

Seeing as Tonya is not feeling well, maybe we should start something ourselves-at least until she feels better! From the previous posts, walking/moving seems to push people harder, but some of us are just starting out. What about going back to the walking, but including a bike ride-2 miles on the bike equals 1 mile walking/jogging? Then add in the 100 oz of water and 5 fruits/veggies per day (an increase from last weeks 3/day). We could also challenge to do some kind of weight training 3 days per week (even leg lifts could count!)

I just want to keep momentum going while Tonya gets better. Then we can start with whatever the "real" challenge is.

OK...since we are all ready to go...... TEAM CHALLENGE IT IS!!! This is over-and-above whatever Tonya and Jack throw at us this week (potentially modified once we know what they are up to).

We all seem to like the walk/run....so the challenge is 10 miles walk/run this week!!! If you bike ride, you can count 3 miles of biking = 1 mile of walk/run (that's a standard equivalent). ALSO.... let's add a bit of strength to our cardio.... everyone needs to do 15 minutes of strength training at least 3 times this week. It is up to you to decide what you want to do: examples are push-ups, curls, chest flies or leg-presses, or a combo of them all. The key is, they have to be strength, which means using weights, either machine or free weights. If you don't go to the gym or have hand-weights at home, you can use "home made" weights (a 15 oz can of veggies = 1 lb).

And of course, water water water.... 100 oz a day :drinker:

Well, at least I can get credit for riding the bike too! I think adding strength training will be great for us!
