    today is weight lifting, full body day.
    Bridges, push press, deadlift, barbell row, wide grip lat pulldown, stiff leg barbell good morning, and dumbbell rear lunge.
    3 sets of 10-12 reps for each.

    Rest day today
  • I walked two miles because my car broke down ( 45 min). I will be walking home 2 miles ( 45 min). I also have to do 5 rounds at work today about 15-20 minutes of walking each round.

    So LOTS of walking!!

    Running club. Warm-up, stretches, mile out and back, 30 second intervals on the flat, 30 second intervals up the hill then mile out and back again trying to get faster. Phew!

    Day off today after two hard days' running. Just gentle stretching and self massage. Bliss!
  • Did Tai chi, Pilates, Yoga this morning and going back to the gym tonight doing weights and elipticals tonight.

    I have a question. Why does the elliptical at the gym say I only burned 425 calories but when I track my exercises on mfp it is around 857m?

    I would split the difference, especially if you are eating back your exercise calories.

    Sunday was a rest day so today I got back at it with 6 sets of 5 reps Around the worlds, squat presses, and military presses with 1 minute eest between sets.

    today I cleaned the house then carried wood to fill the wood box then I played in the snow with my dogs .

    30 minutes of P90 Sculpt 1-2. This was day 1 of the Power 90 program

    Going for a 4 mile run this evening.
  • Just tossed in my Biggest Loser and completed the whole video.


    I could only do 20 mins of that till my knee gave out :(

    Jillian michaels 30 day shred and I did walk 2 miles today for 30 mins using Leslie Samson's walk away the pounds dvd
  • Plan to go to the gym tonight after work and do about 30 mins of the Precor, 20 mins of weigh lefting, prob 15mins of Ab work. maybe 5 or 10 mins of the treadmil & maybe a Whey protein shake to end the night. YAY!!

    4 mile walk with the dog, as well as walking the kids to/from school.

    Gonna hit the gym (in my garage) a little later for some Pilates, see if I can make a start on trimming this Christmas tummy

    I went to 2 classes: water fitness and spinning. I'm also going to walk on the treadmill for a 1/2 hour or so. I'm going out for Thai food tonight so I need to burn extra calories. :smile:

    Usually I go walking everyday for at least 30 minutes, most of the time it's 60 minutes in the mornings. And lately I've been doing an exercise regimen from a Navy Seals book that lasts for 30 days, and you do various callistenics and strength training exercises. It's simple to follow and rotates working on different muscles groups on different days. It only takes about 30 minutes to do and has helped a lot. I miss having an elliptical machine to workout on though, because I need more intense cardio than walking provides and an elliptical machine helps you to run without wearing out your joints like running does.
