Two mile intervals run/walk with my overweight lab/border collie mix. She was happy at first and then her tongue was hanging out for the last 10 minutes:bigsmile:

Walked for around 90 minutes this morning pushing a buggy (half of which was uphill!), then spent about another 90 minutes this afternoon in the garden, weeding, digging and raking over the soil so I could put in my new plants.

Haven't bothered to count the amount of times I've followed the kids around the house and garden tidying up their toys, lol!!

Here is my routine just about everyday:

Arc Trainer, Hill Interval Level 3 for 30 minutes (+5 min cool down after). I keep the strides around 119-128 during the easier inclines and 128-141 during the harder inclines.

It says I burn approx 540 calories (although this may be slightly off since I'm going by the machine. Still deciding on whether or not to get a HRM...)

Anyone else have an Arc Trainer? Is the calories burned accurate? It's a fairly new machine..

Did you enter your weight/ age to get that number? They usually default to 150lbs (not sure of the age) I am going to have to check them out

I entered my weight. It doesn't give an option for age. Thanks.
