12/07/17 - usually Tuesday track group - we hit the hills this time, did a pretty fun partner workout. Partner 1 sprints 3 pole lengths, while partner 2 jogs easy. After the three pole lengths, Partner 1 slows to and easy jog and Partner 2 sprints to catch up, when they do, partner 2 slows to easy jog, partner 1 sprints again. It works best when people are similar speeds. Repeat.
We did that one twice for the length of the long hill. Then another similar one and then a steady effort all the way up.

Mapmyrun ap says almost 5 miles total, but I just urned it on and left it so it may include a bit of pacing/walking. I'll call it an even 4 miles for today.

2.42 mile recovery run in 27:24, Avg Pace 11:20, Overcast, 82F, DP 74

Missed 2 days of running due to the flu. So my streak stopped at 23 days in a row of running. Easing back into it again. Lots 8lbs in one night, haven't gained it all back yet. Still recovering.

Saw momma duck and her two young ones, lots of lizards of course, a few other birds. One other runner and 2 bikers. One of the bikers had *severe* BO.

    WTD3: 2.4 miles
    MTD: 78.4

I ran a 1 mile race tonight. Last year my time was 8:03 - this year finished in 7:17. I did over a 1 mile warm up but will guess conservatively and go for a total of 2 miles today.

3 miles today, not going to hit my target this month as off to Spain on a 2 week vacation from Saturday and no time to run tomorrow.

    MTD 39 miles.

Corriander, please keep me on the spread sheet and I will go for 60 miles in August.

Good luck everyone on reaching your July targets.

That's a big improvement over a year's time! Nicely done!

I'm at 52 miles for the total month!

Only 9 miles this week so far. I wasn't feeling too well this week but I am determined to make it as close as possible to 105 this month!

What are you doing to treat it? I have some experience with IT Band issues.
